  1. Ron that’s all you did. Lol that’s awesome work and thanks for the step by step process. You should make a resin cast for future builds. Looking forward to seeing more details.
  2. Brian nice progress on the dump body and frame. I’m hoping that you receive a new cab.
  3. Thanks Dave for sharing your information.
  4. Nice start on your trailer. That’s a lot of timber to glue together.
  5. Jerry it looks like it’s purple bath time. It will be easier than sanding.
  6. Dave hope you’re feeling better. Your build looks awesome what did you use for your wire ropes.
  7. I really appreciate everyone’s comments here. I’ve added some checkered plate on the frame. Was able to see it in one of the pictures I have. I had a good weather day for painting and had the cab ready. I’ve also started work on the trailer and mocked up with the 15” wheels. I’m going to fill in the existing wheel openings and add some filler in front of the wheels.
  8. Excellent Jeff can’t wait to see it with the cab on. Your snow clean up reminds me of when I was growing up in up state NY. I don’t miss your winters.
  9. Thanks for sharing this awesome information on how you made your tarps Brian.
  10. Ken it just keeps getting better and better as you continue with your progress. Looking forward to seeing your next update.
  11. Ken I like how you are able to add the extra hoses and wires in your engine compartment. This one is awesome.
  12. I really appreciate everyone’s comments here. I’ve added some checkered plate on the frame. Was able to see it in one of the pictures I have to go by. Also glued the quarter fenders and mud flaps on. I’ve also made the groves for the glass as well. I’m also working on my template for the trailer decals.
  13. Nice progress Pat what ever engine you decide to use it will look awesome.
  14. Thanks Vince this will make the fourth Dodge L1000 I’ve built.
  15. Ken looking forward to seeing your frame painted. I used a DC Production bucket truck for the conversion. I also have one of their post holes digger that some day I’m going to make up with some kind of truck.
  16. I guess you could always make it a old work truck that has seen better days.
  17. You have your AC shaping up nicely.
  18. Brian have you tried to reach the seller to see if they can do anything. Between the roof and the fenders now being squared up is not good.
  19. Jeff I think you’re having to much fun with this weathering. Lol. Can’t wait to see more.
  20. Thanks Pat the tires are from Scenes Unlimited the rears are T32 1/25 22.5 Drive Tires and the front are T33 1/25 22.5 Steer/trailer tires. Thanks Brian. I’ve done some paint work on the interior.
