  1. Nice trick with the '38 front end. It looks like the top is ghosting. You may have to let that set a while. There are all kinds of ways to deal with them.
  2. One question How do you build so well so fast Great work!!
  3. Looks like some good slicin'and dicin'
  4. some of these strippers (like Purple Power,Super clean, etc) work a little better when warm. NOT HOT! WARM.
  5. WOW I didn't know you were still in business. I don't do trucks, but a few years ago I latched onto a set of your beautiful aluminum wheels. Good to know your still around.
  6. Yeah, but I wonder if it's not so much the coating or the COATER!! I don't believe I have stripped plating from a Tamiya or Fujimi kit. Where's that Porsche 911!
  7. Thanks Marc. I'm not a Sam's club member, but someone in this park might be. I'll see if they'll get me a gallon. Funny thing about floor strippers though. I us to use those but was having situations where it wasn't doing the job. Switched to ammonia and stuff floated off.
  8. I hate to whine,(at least with some cheese), but this stuff under the plating is .... I've tried super clean, 91% alcohol and now ammonia. I'm painting the engine and have to pick out little bits of this coating around the blower bolts, supercharger belts etc. Can someone find out what this is from R2 ?
  9. WOW! GOOGLE images failed me and I am sorry!! I checked and the "64 car did not come up except in a tiny B/W!! Going on memory, if it 's the '64 hardtop, it would most likely be a 426 wedge car. Without anymore reference can't help beyond that.
  10. LOL! I've also noticed that the plating strips real easy but that smuztz that is underneath... SHEESH!! And lets just pile it on !! I'm also trying to do this as a box stock build .
  11. Sure would like to know the back story on that one!
  12. It's probably on Google. It was a plain white car and the Cady decals pretty much covers it.
  13. I concur!! Stunning!!!
  14. The TATRA aerodynamic versions (not to be confused with the TA-TAs)
  15. I'd pick -up the much better detailed Lindberg Dodge for the chassis and other bits. Way better detail.
  16. That's a great piece of work and the chassis is the icing on the cake!!
  17. Two work areas. One for the rough stuff, one for finer work.
  18. Mary is doing the happy dance fer sure!!
  19. Finished a transaction with Chris Toner and went perfect !!
  20. Finished a transaction with Ben Barth and went perfect!
  21. By the way, with the current exchange rate, you are a little bit short of two peso After paying for some stuff on ebay, I'm A LOT shorter
  22. Are you confused yet! Here's another Dawn power disolver (not the dish soap,it's oven cleaner).
