  1. Very nice save!! Now THAT was a glue bomb!!
  2. It's raining here in east Mesa!!! OH Happy Days
  3. I don't either, but a feature in Collectible Automobile makes a point of there being a difference. I think the Ventura is a higher -line model. My quote button stopped working and I can't seem to copy & paste either
  4. What everyone else said...Just stunning!!!
  5. Nice work and I've seen yours close up a few years ago. Darryl likes to put figures and nice display bases when he shows his builds. Somewhere in a magazine article there was pic of this car after it had been lengthened and a later model Hemi installed. I think it was a R&C where they were featuring icons of the past.
  6. James. I actually have some metalflake brand (still in the box!) it came in Probably from the early to mid sixties. I think I'll dig it out and take a pic.
  7. No I don't use Firefox. I'll try that pop-up blocker item. At this point, I'm so POéd at all this download stuff that I may just fuggeaboutit
  8. :)There is another thread here started by Steve Goldman. Read thru that and you'll see what I mean. Curt: your build is fine and I did say that SF colors are a good match...saying it is the best ? For now yes. Your build up is great and I've always enjoyed looking at/seeing them. James: Thanks for the reinforcement Other than those points Y'll have nice day
  9. WOW is that the original paint? Looks like a pretty coarse flake to me. I believe that frame is a highly modified Willys and the motor while it might not be the ONE from the Willys is probably a close cousin. I'll check my issue of Car Craft with the full article and an X-ray view drawing.
  10. My Norton runs scans automatically and comes up clean, same with the defrag. I could try both manually to-nite. This isn't a life ending deal, I'm just surprised that companies would hook up with what appears to be a problematic system.
  11. I'm trying to load it to a Win 7 Dell laptop that I bought in 1/1/2013, so it should be okay. I keep getting to video clips that I would like to view and iHeart radio requires it. Even when I checked my downloads it was there TWICE but I would get an alert when trying to view a video that I don't have the latest version? I also found lots of complaints that if you were not careful about hidden checkboxes that after the download, you had stuff that you didn't authorize. Ahhh Technology
  12. That's good question!! How about assembling up side down and flowing in Future. It won't yellow and melt the plastic and might be strong enough to hold it .
  13. I've tried downloading this and it just don't go. I went to their site and found I'm not alone. Anyone use this? How did you resolve any issues downloading it. I can't believe that such an iconic product would be so problematic. If this was troublesome why would they think I would want to BUY any of their products?
  14. Executive order?
  15. This was discussed before and Scale finishes has a good match according to a few. I saw this car in 1967(actually helped push it into the truck) and it had what I describe as a medium to coarse metalflake blue with the fender edges fogged in a dark blue.
  16. Nick !! I always knew you were a genius!
  17. http://www.ebay.com/itm/380937205552?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT Just what your looking for Not my auction BTW
  18. I think I only got two clear coat jobs that turned out good with that stuff. Had problems with bubbling no matter how I "misted" it on. I'll stick with PPG Hi-Performance clear. Have to use the airbrush though.
  19. I don't usually give a rats pitute about a companies views, usually it's where will I get a good deal. I do make an exception in the case of a couple business's though about what I refer to as unethical practices, like Mozilla and Cold Stone.
  20. Don't risk it! Test on scrap plastic.
  21. Here in AZ (where it is now dryer than a popcorn F---) the brain trust (AKA the statelegislature ) has legalized fire works sales. Can you say Forest Fires.
  22. Got a pile of neat not real common kits today for a very fair price. Sold a bunch of stuff too! Not a bad swap meet day
  23. I could use some help un loading.
