  1. Not quite. I think I'll just post links to my PB albums and let the member decide if they want to look.
  2. Well it links back to my PB, but how do I get the pic here without clicking on the link?
  3. http://s1189.photobucket.com/user/mkucaba/media/CORVETTE SR-2 1956-57/DSCF1190.jpg.html?o=1
  4. Those wheels look exactly as some offered by an ebay seller, even down to the color of the steel rim center.
  5. Don't use metal containers, and try and keep it in a warm area.
  6. Is this something new or can the URL just be copied and paste? I have a PB account and posting pics here has always been laborious and.....Well you know.
  7. Ýou make that car look prettier than a $20.00........ Seriously, great build!!
  8. If you don't want to empty the entire can. Use a small drill bit and drill out the insert in the tip. Insert one of those plastic straws that usually come on other spray cans like WD-40. I was able to buy several of these somewhere.Insert this into the hole in the tip and epoxy this in place. When everything is dry,put tip on can and spray into jar. This is a super way to do this and if you save the tip and straw you won't have to do this again. I clean the assembly by using a pipette filled with lacquer thinner and push it thru from the bottom of the tip.
  9. Yeah, I got it working now. There will be peace in the East Valley.
  10. Okay I'll try it some more.
  11. Is there a trick to using this? I've tried to ignore a few members, but it does'nt seem to take.
  12. Very hard to tell without seeing how smooth it is now. Maybe start with 1000 wet or dry and see how that goes.?
  13. Sure you can, after they are dry...very dry.
  14. WOW what happend? I thought this was going well?
  15. Fine Scale Modeler had a great multi part on just this very thing a few years ago. I can copy these and bring them to Mike's show on 9/26th
  16. Get one of those battery operated mixers for stirring paint. They work wonders on new & old bottle paint.
  17. Nice! I don't recall any Hollywood celebs partial to Mopars but I can picture Frank or any of the Rat pack crusing the blvd with this. Nice touch and upgrade with the wheels and tires.
  18. In discussing this car with Mr. Predicta AKA Mark Gustavson. It was concluded that to build an accurate 1/24 model the kit should only be used as a reference and start with a Monogram '56 t-bird and a '59 Buick. I did try using the kit and wanted to backdate it but what a waste. I'll see about posting a link to my PB, both the 1/24th project is there along with start of a 1/16th predicta. The frustrating thing is that Monogram bought the Predicta from Starbird. He made modifications to it for Monogram and they still fudged the model.
  19. "You sir..............are tha freekin man!!" Thank you

  21. Those are part of a complete display set-up from Scale Motor Sports.
  22. Nice work so far. In the clean up on mine I checked and cut that cowl/ Firewall out and will eventually mate it up to the interior floor. I'll be watching how the Porsche dash goes .
  23. I liked everyone but that gold Charger I'd throw some Big donk wheels on. Then it would look KOOL See you at the next show!
  24. Go for it Ray! Call it a TOP SECRET concept COBRA!
  25. Nice! I have this in the stash and did some clean-up a few months back. Like the idea of the XR-6 chassis. may borrow that idea.
