  1. I sectioned that piece as I just couldn't handle the way it looked, It helped that i also sectioned the body about a scale 3 Inches. Go with what you have and if you need some other grilles bumpers PM me.
  2. I'm in for several of the two. Keep me posted. See you also on FB
  3. If that's your idea of "tinkering"waht happens when you get serious Nice work!
  4. I think that yellow 911 shows up as a kit with paint and such, and maybe in a 3-car set. Check ebay .
  5. These look quite nice! Are they out of the box builds ?
  6. When I mentioned GAPS they are not that big and I am leaning more to a clear acrylic.
  7. You can use whatever you want to primer...that don't necessarily mean the results you'll get is what you want. I use automotive primer in quart cans and this is so thick that I thin it 2: 1 and more. I think you have more experience using gesso so give it a try. Test on some junker bodies or the plastic spoons
  8. Good question. I tried the Second kit I ordered and although it's better (acceptable) I am looking for a clear adhesive to fill the gaps.On a positive note A brief go around on the rear glass with some 400 grit paper yielded a perfect fit.
  9. X3 on the trim. What did you do to get the pattern?
  10. All is not lost! Contacted Moebius customer service and they are sending me a replacement windshield! Thumbs up to Moebius!!
  11. Glad I ordered TWO kits. Echoing Harry P why should i have to do this. It's a great idea, but now I get a chance to practice fitting another one from the second kit. We waited a loonng time for this kit and this is disappointing. Mike
  12. WOW ! Chuck, your really getting into this! Nice work!
  13. If you cast these parts as they are you would not need a 2 Part mold. You could also glue and refine the unit and do a 1 piece mold, but the RTV should be VERY flexible. You may get only a few copies.
  14. Denatured alcohol works well too.
  15. The next time you are in Mesa,AZ Please stop in and organize my tools and supplies!.............
  16. Also looks like Chestnut a ford color for t-birds in the 60's I have an old pint of the stuff.
  17. I never have used Future as a stand-alone clear, but use it to protect decals before a lacquer clear application. Also until I started thinning it about 1:1 wit denatured alcohol, never got it to lay down smoothly.
  18. Nice ! I think I'll put this on my next resin purchase.
  19. Both the Motorcycle and the go-kart were ( are?) available in resin from Reps and Miniatures .
  20. Your crazy!
  21. Very nice! The tail lights look great! and the color.
  22. WOW! With this and your other post you hit it out of the park! Great Theme!
  23. Nice! One of those things that I would like to do. Are the different shades of yellow close to replica?
