Zawsze chciałem zbudować wersję "Bavaria" serii 6. Nie mogę się doczekać, żeby zobaczyć, jak budujesz ten zestaw!

Good ! Now I can use its body in order to make a c.1993-c.1994 Caprice 9C1 !

I'm right there with you -- have been for absolutely years . So many other nice underhood resin pieces made , yet the "obvious" stuff is often overlooked ! Many of those old AMT and MPC kits' firewalls had either a 1966 & earlier brake master (on 1967 & newer models !) , or just a blank spot where one should be . Are you listening , resin parts creators / casters ?

It would appear to me that the 1979's bonnet is "sharper" at its leading-edge than its 1978 predecessor's . I don't have a '78 in my hands ; just going by images .

Has any manufacturer produced a stock , 1/24 or 1/25 scale , Datsun 510 coupe yet ? I'd love to see a Toyota Stout as well ...

I love it , Bill ! Very cool concept --- love the graphics ! Nice , unique creation .

Other than the "multiple-year" rear fascia , what's truly 'wrong' with the old MPC 1969 Barracuda appearance-wise ? Certainly , the engine compartment is totally incorrect ( round shear panels and the 1966 & earlier brake master cylinder come to mind ) ; the chassis leaves a bit to be desired (moulded-on exhaust) ; and the 383 is the typical "generic" MPC take on the B/ RB engine series (that "distributor" is a joke in itself ) ; but , other than those easily-rectified nuanced artifacts , the car builds-up nicely . I applaud you and your work here , Bob . That interior alone looks labour-intensive !

The Richard Petty Magnum was a rebodied 1971-1972 Belvedere / 1972-1973 Charger . At one point , the chassis was reconstituted for the Magnum ; then God knows what happened to it after the Magnum's usefulness ceased . Eventually , that 'Magnum' chassis was employed in the restoration of Petty's 1971 Belvedere .

No mention of the custom / drag version parts finding their way into this reissue ? Don't get me wrong , I actually like this retro version ; I'm just hoping that the stock wheel covers , etc. , are included ... ...as well as the L79 .

More on Molotow pens

RE : Touching the "Molotowed" Surface : While I don't recommend that one touches the surface more often than is "necessary" , I've noticed that so long as one doesn't "heavy hand" the part(s) with the Molotow surface , then it's okay ; pretty durable finish . -

Joseph's pieces ARE works of art ! In the future , they'll be as collectable as a Fabergé egg ! -
NICE !! A 9C1 Nova !! Those things were essentially a 4 door Camaro , engine and all ! Los Angeles Sheriff's Department used them extensively --- tough as nails ! Keep up the great work !

1965 Plymouth Fury Questions.
1972coronet replied to StevenGuthmiller's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Caveat regarding the differences in rocker arm ( colloq. , "valve" ) covers : the 1969 & earlier setup is different from the 1970 & later setup (due to evapourative emissions controls ; PCV valve and breather swapped-sides , and oil fill cap was a separate piece on the 1970 & up engines ) . If the 'covers from the Moebius or Lindberg will fit the AMT 440 from the '71 Charger , then all the better . -

Thanks much for your advice I can't believe how I flubbed that left-side valve cover's position ! Oddly , the heads are side-specific in this kit , baring different part numbers from side-to-side . I even wrote the numbers on the heads' underside ( using the Molotow pen ) just so I could put them in their proper position . Additionally , the valve covers are also "keyed" from side-to-side so that they go on to their respective banks . If I had noticed the inaccuracy in regard to the left bank's V.C. pose , I would have simply sanded-off the mounting pins so that I could properly install the V.C. Unfortunately , those V.C.s are on that block ... no turning back now ! Hahahaha .

That looks like a fun kit , Mike ! Your attention to the details is spot-on as usual . I agree with you and everyone here : those wire wheels are fantastic ! Especially considering their one-piece , injection-moulded plastic nature . I love the dead-flat finish that those Chimneyville (?) paints provide --- I've used the "exhaust soot" (don't remember its actual name right now) extensively on my 1967 SS-396 Chevelle build . Keep up the outstanding work , Mike !

I neglected to mention that the instrument decals are from Best Model Car Parts https://www.ebay.com/usr/bestmodelcarparts

UPDATE 31.03.2018 Here's some pics of the completed interior . As-moulded-in colour ; most brightwork was accomplished with a Molotow pen , with the door panels' horizontal chrome strip being the only pieces done using Bare Metal Foil . I wanted to add some contrast to the Marina Blue seating , so I painted the carpet and the package tray shelf with Tamiya Flat Blue . Tiller is 'Rosewood' , as is the dashboard's upper-panel . Too bad that the cell phone photos don't do this piece justice --- much , much nicer in person ! Comments and criticisms are welcomed .

Fantastic BS23R0B ! I can't believe that no one's noticed that you 'opened' the boot (trunk) and added the spare tyre and all of the other equipment ! Double-WOW !

Not only is the GT nice , but its less-expensive relative is , too : "S23" (as in PS23 ; the V.I.N. prefix) . I'd imagine that the 335hp 383 Super Commando would be sufficient to make that C-body move !

Wonder if Revell added a correct axle this go'round ? That 8 3/4 is incorrect for a Hemi (or 440) with a 4-speed . Then there's that (stupid) 4-paddle , direct-drive engine cooling fan ... The inclusion of the 'RO23' parts ( Keystone Klassics , Super Stock hood scoop , etc. , etc. ) from the Sox & Martin version will hopefully find their way into this issue .

No known factory-produced Hemi-powered wagons . Four doors ? Yes . Coupes ? Yes . Hardtops ? Most common . This is the only factory-esque Hemi-powered wagon : the 1967 C/MP Whackee Wagon
