Great thoughts and suggestions on kits.but in cars I would want a Moebius or Revell 1973 or 74 Chevrolet Nova SS coupe..would love it and in pickups a 1977 Chevrolet or GMC crewcab 1 ton pickup with 2wd or 4 wd options and standard bed or dually options ...that would light my fire......Chris

Question about gm 12 bolt rear cover
Nova-ss replied to Nova-ss's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Ues...I like it!!!...I think I'm going to try that.I can make that.thank you for the idea a thoughts, parts.you did a great Idea.I'm building a rear axle for a 75 76 caprice.I took the rear axle out of a 72 nova kit..modded it to fit.but the rear axles which is suppose to look like a gm bolt... [ and does ok..I think]..but the rear cover is far from right.I also used the rear member only.the axle tubes are evergreen and kns tubing for the bushing.but like I said needed a better..more accurate rear axle cover...thank you....Chris -

Let's See Some Glue Bombs!
Nova-ss replied to Snake45's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
It mite look that away, but lights are missing and its not painted, but your right...I would not see it as a gluebomb.what I'm going to do with yet still remains to be seen.if I rebuilt it as a Ambulance then I need decals...that I would need to go looking for.also how complete is.rear tail lights seem to be missing.glue joints would need fixed.but I take most of it apart....need to do some thinking. In this also came a ERTL tractor and 67 amt chev pickup, but this isn't the place for them.even thinking about the ambulance isn't right either.did't this start out as muscle cars..I don't remember...sorry if I'm wrong......Chris -

Moebius '65 Mercury Comet Cyclone news
Nova-ss replied to Dave Metzner's topic in Car Kit News & Reviews
I agree with you Tim,we all need to wait till its in your hands,we can see it.its hurts others to make judgments with just seeing pictures...pictures are not real.just wait...please.I would rather talk about what we all will be making with it as a platform or basis to start our dreams, projects or just fun building.for me if something isn't what I want...I change it . somethings.I want more accurate or detailing of it.they give us a starting place...the rest of it is up to us...the model builders. I can't wait till its out.good bad or in between. I'm going to build a street car from the mid 70's to 80's era.it will be a blast.thank you Moebuis and Mister Dave and Tim who shows us a few pictures to get creative juices running.his thoughts on what he sees. ..Thank you........Chris -
People toss around the term "Pro Built" anyone can say that. ..doesn't mean anything.you have to know tge builders rep.there is to many sharks out there on ebay..you have to be careful on ebay these days buying....Chris

For me...its body first toget it out of the way.problem can happen, then it takes longer.but while body is being done, chassis and engine are going on . interior is last.but thats no alway how it goes....just most of the time....Chris

Amt 70 impala differences?
Nova-ss replied to Nova-ss's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Absolutely! ! helped alot Ace.I appreciate all the info.mainly I want the chassis plate, all front and rear suspension, but rims and tires sound great.I'm going to put this under my 76 caprice, that is going to have mild detailing.I ask Gerry about he suggested this kit the black impala.so thats what I'm going to do.so thank you for tge help.you have a great evening Ace.......Chris ps...I love the old kits as well.I'll be getting two,one for the parts the other just to build.
