  1. LOL..funny i thought what you did about this kit.I've built all the Galaxy kits..there great.I built Revell open top car trailer..loved it.I actually have a glue bomb Revell trailer going now. so I ran across two of these on ebay.the one I'm building now was glued once at least.no tires or rims.the clear top was smashed flat.so I out of the blue just desided to build a real looking open top car trailer out of it..its been fun. thank you David,I appreciate your thoughts and experjences.have a great day.....Chris
  2. this one also...what? don't understand. the golden rod looks like it has the right rad. shell.the shape looks right.is it chopped in the golden rod?....Chris
  3. Ok,so the switcher 32 Ford has a chopped top and body? The net says Milner 32 had a three inch chopped top..not body..right.so the body being chopped is wrong. inaccurate frame?.the inaccurate or absence or a real frame is a problem I can solve. Milners 32 has cycle front fenders and bobbed rear ones.are those in any kit? the chopped rad. shell, plus it looks different shaped on the Milner 32,where would or how would you make one? starting there as far as the problems go.is there anything in the MPC more American Graffiti 32 Ford that is of use for this car?
  4. I never built the mpc 32 ford of milner's.what is wrong with it.sense I don't have one I can't compare it to pictures. I'm thinkin of building my own from that kit.is there a better kit to start from? thank you all.....Chris
  5. hiya Gator, Thank you.i greatly appreciate your words.as for the stand,I make them out of scrape plastic from my scratch building projects,I scratch build alot.so I windup lots of evergreen and plastistruct as scrape.once enouch collects, then I just start glueing.I have about 7 different ones. different lengths and heights.thanks for asking.have a great day.....Chris
  6. Thank you for info and picture.so the 32 was based off the switchers?.do you have a picture of the switchers kit?also what is wrong with the 32 that wasn't what the real 32 had..hope that makes sense.......Chris

  11. Great looking pickup, nice work.love your ideas on a frame lift, suspension lift and cab lift . performance improvements,headers,2.5 exhaust duel with equalizer tube, turbo mufflers, hei type ing.if using a carb,1 inch riser plate, aluminum intake, carter or afb carb, nice set of chrome valve covers,k&n air filter, holley electronic fuel pump w/filter...I can go on but for just engine performance that would be seen..there are others.......Chris
  12. Thanks all, Its coming along ok.got alot of small things done.tge trailers tonque is on,break away batts on,wiring, conduct, rims have been desided.got backing rims from scenes unlimited.I modded the S16's to get only the rim bead for the rim.made the battery placement. still need to make the plastic battery box,get safety chains, make ramps and get suspension and fenders glued on.here is a few update pictures..thank you for looking and any help you give.......Chris ps...The masking tape is holding the fenders on till suspension is glued permanent.
  13. Brings back memories for me.I started building models at the young age of 4 years old.I can't remember the car,but it was a AMT.my friend named David and I started on my bed, asked my mother for glue, she said no and gave us scotch tape...we built the most we could with tape..I was in love with building.my first kit was I got on my own was Barnabus Collin's show car.my uncles helped me with parts of the car.knowing engine parts.trying to build as good as they did.it was so fun back then.less about if the plug wires where wired in the right timing order..sure miss those days...I do feel and hear ya.it was so fun......Chris
