  1. BUMP! This weekend everybody!
  2. What is the black circular object on the passenger side rear of the car? A speaker?! This one will definitely be wild. I love that engine and the flames. Those bumpers will be a chore but nothing I haven't seen you tackle on prior builds. This one will be a real treat to follow! Thanks John!
  3. Thank you for the information, Dennis. Fellow builders, you cannot go wrong if you are able to attend this event. Where else can you find a full-size car show, a model car contest and a swap meet all under one roof during the winter months? I attended this event the last two years and will testify that Dennis and company put on a very good event! I drive 3+ hours to this one and am always happy with the time and money spent. I have provided links to my photo albums from the past two years if you are interested in a preview to this event: 2011: http://public.fotki.com/KMidd65/model-car-shows--co/2011-model-car-shows/mda-model-car-show-2011/ 2012: http://public.fotki.com/KMidd65/model-car-shows--co/2012-model-car-shows/mda-model-car-show-2012/
  4. I hope to, it just depends upon when my better half decides to schedule vacation this year, LOL! I made it to the last two so I will be trying my best to get there, even if it is just to chat and shoot pictures for my album. Hope to see some of your latest builds up close if I get there!
  5. Thanks for the information, Josh. You and your club always put on a good show!
  6. John, you truly inspire with your builds! Those tailights were looking sinister before the mesh was added. The floor boards with the bolts are a really nice touch. So much to look at on your builds. Thanks for sharing the in-process pics with us!
  7. Mike, that thing is looking killer! I really hope you get out to some shows with it next year. I would really like to see it in person. Very nice work so far!
  8. Another nice job, Bruce! Very clean and sharp build. I gotta agree with you, Tony is one of my favorites also.
  9. John, all three look very nice! I especially like the Alliance version using the old AMT kit. That has been on my list "to do" if I happen upon the decals at a show. The AMT kit looks really nice, I am actually working on a Country Time version as I write this. Thanks for sharing with us, I always enjoy seeing your builds.
  10. I believe that the frustration was worth it. That is a very nice build! I really like the end result. Thanks for sharing it with us.
  11. She looked stunning during the build but the results are fabulous! Nice job, Wayne!
  12. I sure hope that other build is the Buckshot car!! I have been waiting to see that one finished up. You do nice work, don't sweat it!
  13. Super sharp clean build, Bill!! I really like it. Nice detailing on those hood pins!
  14. This one is looking great!
  15. Thanks for the pics. Tom! I had to sit this one out today due to a wedding. Looks like some nice stuff was there.
  16. Attended the 3rd annual Fall ModelFest in Duncan, SC today. Car count grows every year at this show. I have attached some highlights, more in my Fotki Album at the link. http://public.fotki....odel-fest-2012/
  17. Nice save, Josh! This one looks sweet.
  18. Wow, I absolutely like that model! The race cars from the 90's were still cool. I agree Drew, need some extra space to showcase non-Nascar circle track cars.
  19. Man, that was looking sweet! Instead of stripping next time, give good old WD-40 a try first. That stuff is great for removing tape residue. This build will be cool when finished!
  20. I agree, the CKM crew did a great job, as usual. It was great to catch up with a bunch of other builders and I scored a couple want list items from the vendors. Congrats again, Tom! My photos from the show are at the attached link. http://public.fotki.com/KMidd65/model-car-shows--co/2012-model-car-shows/ckm-nnl-2012/
  21. Nice one, Johnny! I really like those old Fords. Nice job on this one!
  22. I am out of town but going to try and move the schedule around to fit this one in. You guys always do a great job with this show!
  23. Always liked these. Especially the second! Nice Job
  24. Really nice, John!
  25. Beautiful build, Scott! I will be looking for that one at a local show.
