  1. Didn't see that coming...
  2. Oh man... This should be awesome
  3. Amazon has one I think just google 1 25 ruler
  4. Well a half inch would be a foot in 24th scale slightly less in 25th
  5. I'm Interested in seeing those wheels
  6. It's best to work those out to inches and then divide by 24 or 25
  7. I used these dimensions to help, I did scale it out in illustrator to get all the other dimensions I needed too
  8. Good start, your subject matter is always interesting. I'll be watching this one for sure
  9. I'm pretty sure your driveshaft is cooler than anything I've ever built
  10. They are wide, but otherwise should work well
  11. I have a few ideas.. Regular uhauls just have square boxes over the tires, but I'll probably do a little more than that
  12. thanks Pat.. Starting my super extend-o frame
  13. making a bit more progress, I think I need to get the chassis going while I wait on some styrene (I ordered triangle to put inside the corners so I can round them off). got some of the rear panel roughed in, and rub rails on the inside, I'll probably mount thin wood strips to these like the older U-Hauls.
  14. Looks great. Do you know which size those rod ends are?
  15. I have a few ideas... But nothing solid yet
  16. little more progress on my fancy plastic box.
  17. I'm probably going with the generic older logos and stripes. Might even "remove" some. Keep in mind this is a late 80s early 90s body style, they were a little more simple then. Little weathering here and there too. Like someone bought it, bagged it and had some fun. I'm currently debating weather I want to have the rear open up or not.. I'm leaning towards doing so
  18. So I've been kicking around this crazy idea for a bit, I'm kinda planning as I go, as usual... Armed with a doodle, some measurements I scaled out in Illustrator and a spare cab from a previous (poor) build I got to work.. Oh and a ton of sheet styrene. The doodle.. Started by stripping the cab (amazingly the windows were painted and they look saveable too) I then set that on a set of Moebius semi wheels and Pegasus 23's to check and see where I was. then I got to work with a Xacto, a ruler and a bunch of .040 sheet.... Obviously a ton of work ahead, but I cant stop smiling.. this one should be FUN!
  19. Wow
  20. minor minor detail, but opened up that hub a bit.
  21. Thanks guys, I think I'm going to get going on this one again here soon
  22. Really good job on those kits! Love the burgundy one. I Know what you had to do to get these builds looking good. It shows!
