  2. wow... its amazing what a bit of technology and some clean building skills can do. It sure is an exciting time to be in the hobby.
  3. and with the collectors and some scrap rod for visual aid for how the exhaust will fit.
  4. Got the header sorted out finally, we wont talk about the 5 or so faile dones before this. Not perfect but I think its convincing. I still need to lop the ends off and make the collectors. Ended up doing a pair of 3 to 1 instead of trying to out all 6 together.

  6. Started the header, ended up making something cool that didn't fit. so I decided to mount the radiator instead..
  7. I'm not stressing about wheels so much. I think I can get away with it on my build though.. A crusty 53 sedan delivery with big wheels doesn't really scream fast to me
  8. I'm going to attempt to do a crazy header for the exhaust... Maybe that's what I'll try tonight?
  9. Ordered up a sherline lathe, guess I'm gonna have to figure out how to use it for this.

  14. Links are done, also made a gas cap.
  15. got the fuel cell started, figuring out where everything can go. and started on the upper links.
  16. In my opinion sleeper doesn't have to mean it's junk.. Build what tickles your fancy, you are really the one that has to be happy with it in the end.
  17. Got the radiator built today. Used a scrap radiator, cut the core out and made the takes and fan shroud. Used a fan from a Revell 32
