  1. Plus he has some neat vacuum formed things like tear drop hood scoops, and belly tanker kits. Also he carries the Hendrix line of resin bodies.
  2. Actually I haven't got this yet, but did order it today. New 1/87th scale kit.
  3. Taken at the NHRA Museum a couple of years back. My museum pics are here if anyone want to look. http://s8.photobucket.com/albums/a2/mercman51/NHRA%20Museum/
  4. I too have done this while browsing in the kit aisle. It's kind of fun getting someone involved with the right model, knowing they will finish it, and hopefully not get frustrated with a kit to advanced for their skill level. In fact that is how I landed a job in a hobby shop in the 80's. I did the interview, and when we got back to the store there were 2 guys looking at a Hubley kit. Long story short I talked them into buying 3 kits, all that were in stock at the time, and was offered a job right after.
  5. I look at things that I can incorporate into my builds that someone else might have done already. It will be different from theirs though as i put my own spin on it. Joker, an Ed I love those builds you guys did.
  6. You can deal with Steve, and not have to worry. I have gotten stuff from him before, and he's great to deal with.
  7. Got the sign up. Soon will be open for business.
  8. Needed some easels for the art display.
  9. Briuzzo do you still have the pattern for the slots? I would love to get a copy of it if you do.
  10. When I was there 2 years ago, I had more fun on Fremont Street than anywhere. We stayed at the Stratosphere though. However next time it will be downtown.
  11. Another nice thing about this is if you keep the walls short enough you have a cover to keep the dust out.
  12. The barbershop pics are here. http://s8.photobucket.com/albums/a2/mercman51/HO%20buildings/Tattoo%20Massage/
  13. Most of the buildings in A will be incorporated. I have at least 20 started so have a load to choose from. Just made a trade for another 15 buildings. Running out of room almost.
  14. Where did you get the slot machines, and could you post a close up pic of them.
  15. Okay Tony I'm adding a elevator.
  16. Got a base made for our mascot. With these 2 guys also around I don't think anyone would take it. Possible logo for the shop.
  17. I would think that the major companies would drop or at least lower the licensing fees. This way they would get there product name out to more people. I'm with Ed on Mopar stuff. I wouldn't walk across the street if it were free. BTW I did own one at one time. Talk about a nightmare. Slant 6 which was nice, but somebody put the plugs in on the side that slanted towards the fenderwell, and the oil filter was upside down. You would loosen it, and have a quart of oil all over everything. Okay I admit I would take a RED RAM Hemi vintage) if offered one.
  18. When I think of Vegas I think of colorful costumes, so I guess this might fit the bill.
  19. The garage kit in that one comes out fairly nice. You can get interior stuff from Walther's, by J L Innovative. they have some white metal castings. of several different styles. I had 7 of those garages, and traded them away, back during my Hot Wheel's collecting craze. Now I kick myself for doing so.
  20. Tony this is looking great. It fits right in the street scene.
  21. Took a 3 lb. hammer to the Aluma-coupe quik build kit. Only the tires, and rims survived. They are on a 65 Riv.
  22. This is why I quit working on cars when they came out with unleaded fuel. I can rebuild a SBC in my sleep darn near.
  23. Shane sorry to say I can't remember. I know that he was done casting them, and selling them out. I got them a year ago last Oct.
