  1. Harry why not check with Ken Hamilton. He has done some in the past. I don't know if he did them for casting purposes but he has created some great figure conversions for his diorama's.
  2. Wheels I would check out the Modelhaus/ Don Holthaus he ahs a wide selection, and tires for them.
  3. Here are my pics from the show. Lots more here. http://s8.photobucke...NNL North 2012/
  4. Anyone here from the board going to be attending. I will be leaving Fri morning for the show. Only 235 miles to MPLS. but I hit the hobby shops on Sat. See you guys on sunday at the show.
  5. Yeah it can happen. I went to one, and bout a toy truck out of the backyard sandbox. turned it for $200.00 a year later. The stuff is out there, just have to look.
  6. I got this one many years ago for 50cents. Unbuilt in the box, missing one valve cover. Original issue.
  7. FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And my wife thinks I'm out of control at times.
  8. Need opinions, should I leave it as is the original building or add the addition. This is looking from the top, as it would be 2-2 1/4 in's high in the front.
  9. Picked this up on sat. Just a slight wash, and detailing the taillights, will make it pop.
  10. Maybe these will help. Hope this helps out.
  11. Basically you peal off the protective backing paper, place where you want it, and apply a damp sponge, or rag to the front side. Rubbing, and pressing gently. Then after 30-60 secs, carefully remove the paper front, and I burnish it with a tissue softly.
  12. Not Tattoo transfers but I used these skins for pine car derby cars. I used it in the interior, and on the cover for this one.
  13. Miguel to be spewcific 1 in. in full size equals 87 in's in HO or 7 ft 3 in. However I to use the 1 in =1 ft way also. looks like a neat project.
  14. Yes it is.
  15. Today I decided to go full bore on this one. The garage alley will get the treatment. Stay tuned for updates.

    Nice. Mines still waiting paint.
  17. I use Phot0bucket also, with no problems.
  18. Look familiar. I got this ojne before I was a year old. The only model my Dad ever built. It was a Revell Hi-Way pioneer. Still have it.
  19. Great stuff guys. Greg I remeber that one (cemetary joke) from when I was a kid many years ago.
  20. I have t-shirts he designed for the St. Rod Nat's. Another great artist to be missed.
  21. Welcome Thomas to the wonderful world of diorama's. Not to bad for your first attempt. Check some of the other posts on shops, and you will get a few more ideas.
  22. Welcome to Seeing as how the museum is just about done, turned my attention back to this one. It will be a retail musical Instrument shop. Did some remodeling work on the front to deepen it for displaying merchandise. The interior of this one will be pertty much what you see, nothing to detailed. I named it after the album from the Moody Blues, In Search of the Lost Chord. This may have been posted earlier as Psychodelo-Mello-Jello.
  23. Yeah that would be a challenge. Who knows?????????? I plan on a dry assembly soon, and will plan from there. I know the lobby will be done for sure.
