This is amazing!-Mark -
Kerry, I just stumbled across this post and I like what you were doing here. I hope you have made some progress on it over the last couple years or perhaps even gotten it done. I like the cab under front rigs too. A late builder from Elyria Ohio named Tony Hill did the model shown here. He was an amazing builder. Anyhow I can’t help but thinking a cab under hot rod would be a wild project. Of course I’ll probably never get to it but... Cheers-Mark

Kenneth, your Beretta looks fantastic so far. I built this one about 20 years ago and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Too bad I gave it to my guitar player in my band at the time! I wish I still had it. Anyhow I like the way you did the pink rocker switches and the multicolored shift knobs. Very 80s Pro Street. As you can tell from my avatar I too am a pro street fan. That’s my ugly green primer 69 nova tube chassis car in the picture. It looks way faster than it is but it sure is fun to drive. Anyhow brother keep on building. I’d like to see this one finished!-Mark

Howard, I was admiring the El Camino puller with the McGee and I looked at the entry form at the bottom of the photo and noticed that it was your personal build. I actually have that Gibson Engine and hope to put it in something cool. I just wanted to say that I absolutely love your build man and thank you for posting all the great pictures. – Mark

Way to go Michelle! This is a great build. You usually see 1969 Cougar kits built but this is a rare treat. Keep up the fantastic work!-Mark

Scott I have always loved your pro street pickup with the 4 cylinder hemi too. If you ever want to trade it......!!! Cheers brother-Mark

This is awesome Dave!-Mark

It may not be what you want to do but have you considered making the doors suicide? Of course I guess the hinges can interfere with the roll cage there as well. Just a thought though.-Mark

'71 Cuda Late Model
ybsluos replied to afx's topic in WIP: Other Racing: Road Racing, Land Speed Racers
I was just surfing around tonight looking for Cuda models and I came across this thread. I know I'm a little late to the party but I just wanted to tell you Steamboat that this comment had me rolling! I use to have that AMT engine in my parts stash but never notice the valve train debacle. Thank you for the laughs. -
This looks awesome Cody. I shot some black primer on my MPC Burnout Bird F/C about a year ago then put it back in the box. Lol. But after stumbling across your project I want to get mine back out. It won't be anything near as ambitious as yours though!

I just found this post. I had this kit in the late 80s. I, like you, was intimidated by the paint job. I’m glad to see that one of us persevered and finished it properly! I chickened out and brush painted the blue on my build and did not deem it nice enough to be an accurate Sox & Martin car . So I built mine Pro Street with a supercharger and way too much induction! Mine is long gone alas but your build makes me want another. Great work my friend.
