I went there today with the 20% off sale. I asked an employee if I could still use my 40% coupon and he said I could. Took the kit to the front counter and gave them the 40% coupon. They accepted it no problem (you'll just get the 40% off, not 40% plus 20%). If they say anything, tell them you want the 40% coupon over the 20%. I walked out of there with the MPC Barracuda kit, 40% off, no worries.

Love the Kenworth, the drive tires look awesome! Decals look great too. Only thing I noticed is the two vertical bars on the bulbar are backwards. The tops of them should be pointing forward, away from the truck. Other than that I love it!

I'll either use BMF or if I have to paint them I'll use Tamiya masking tape and slice the edges as needed around the window(s). Throw some paint on then gently remove the tape before it dries too much and flakes off with the tape. Pretty easy and doesn't take too long.

Yeah, I quite like the show too. I remember on the show Jamie said he missed being out in the trucks and things would be easier if he downsized. I guess he followed his heart and did just that. Shame about the rotator, that truck was a beast! I wonder if the "General" is still in the fleet. I always liked seething that old truck on the show too. I look forward to the show coming back on. Thanks for the pics, always great to see Jamie's trucks.

A lot of grail kits there!

I have a few kits that I do want to build, but at the same time don't want to build due to them being rare/cost a lot of money etc. However, then I think if I don't build them then I'm only keeping them mint for the next guy. So what's the point in having them in the first place? Might as well sell the kit on ebay, make some money and just keep the box art. That way you'll feel you still have the kit. Doesn't matter the contents aren't there since you'll never build the thing anyway.
