  1. I'm loving this, thanks for sharing. This one is hitting close to home as I at one time owned a 70 Barracuda with a 440,and a torqueflite automatic transmission. The car was triple black, and had what was referred to as a bench- bucket front seat, and a column shifter. Also had a Dana 60 rear axle. Very strange car. I sometimes thought it was put together with the left over parts from that year. I love this and I'll be watching!
  2. I was at the store in Marietta on Friday, they had Tommy Grove Mustang Funny, Little Red Wagon, the AMT Gremlin kit"large box", snap Mid 70s Monte Carlo,, Chevy SSR Truck, Color Me Gone 64 Dodge, and several military kits. I'm new to this stor and signed up for the discount card, does anyone know if stores get different inventory?
  3. Your really good. I love restoration projects!
  4. Very nice Tomas, they look great together!
  5. Did you adjust the front ride height, it seems most of these kits I see built have the nose too high?
  6. I like it !
  7. Great motor!!! Love the detail. The drape of the plug wires look very real. Whose wire do you use?

  15. Great start, I'm very impressed with the new scribed lines on the rear doors. How did you do those?
  16. WOW that's nice! If you notice my avatar I'm an altered fan! Crewed for AA/FA for several years, then an Alcohol Funny , Alcohol Dragster, and one year on AA / FD in the eighty's. It's a lot of work . I wasn't a show up on Sunday guy, I worked on the car every night that was needed. Is it summer there?
  17. That's supposed to be your car. I don't know where dad came from.
  18. Thanks, it coming along. Looks good. Is the car in the avatar your dads car?
  19. Hey Aaron, any progress ?????
  20. Hi James, thought I might show you what I did on two of my Vega Funny Cars. Maybe this will help with your ride height correction. I think the Revell Funny Cars are 1/24th scale, not 1/25th as advertised. I don't care for the two piece silks that come with the original kit, so on the Barry Setzer Vega, I shortened the rear wheel openings about a quarter of an inch, and used slicks from an MPC funny car. On the Pisano& Matsubara Vega I left the wheel openings as Revell had them but raised the rear axle mount points by removing the mounts from the frame rails and reattaching them as high as they would go without having to modify the frame rails, and then I used tires and slicks from current Monogram style funny car kits. These slicks are much bigger than Revells, and to me, look much more realistic. Hope this helps!
  21. Very nice
