  1. Funny...I thought he had a dedicated team of minions doing his work.
  2. Itchin' and a twitchin' here too Art. Jonesin' for some flamed Willys.
  3. Very nicely executed and awesome concept.
  4. You must have some under the hood reference for that Garlits streamliner. I look forward to you starting another epic build.
  5. Love your weathering. Just the right amount without overdoing it. Awesome!!
  6. Niko - you're doing this vehicle some justice. Great build so far and I like the fact you're trying to be as accurate as possible.
  7. Great fix Art. Your Willys is looking wicked.
  8. Showroom perfect. Nicely done.
  9. Very nicely done.
  10. Are you sure that paint isn't still wet? Excellent build - flawless paint and on a Willys too.
  11. That is so beautiful. A true work of art. Unrivaled gorgeousness.
  12. This is my neighbor's 58 E Edsel parked in front of my '59 Airstream. How's that for traveling in style? I too really like the blue and white combination. These both are very nice builds. I have one in my stash that I plan on building for my neighbor using his car as reference right down to the faded Nixon sticker in the window.
  13. The shell is starting to take shape. I plan on building the frame just like a vintage Airstream is constructed with metal ribs and cross members. The aluminum square tubing has one long rod inside a 1/16th aluminum tube so this thing should be really rigid and structurally sound. There will eventually be eight cross members. The aluminum skin will be attached with Scale Hardware rivets. I have 300 on hand and think I'll need another 200 to complete the shell. I'm still hoping to have the top lift off and the inside walls, cabinetry, bathroom and galley components visible. We'll see how that goes. Stay tuned and comments welcome.
  14. That is outstanding Gabriel. Great update. So glad to see you back on this. Will a few of us be able to see this tonight?
  15. That is absolutely gorgeous Charlie. Very nicely done. And as I said before, I can't wait for your next update.
  16. Thanks Mark. Really appreciate your comment and for following along.
  17. Hi FFS. Great tribute you want to do for your uncle. I am certainly not the authority on this but the only Camaro that I remember that was made in 1/12th scale is the 1969, not the '67 or '68. Good luck with your project.
  18. I post pictures by having them on another site which stores the photos. I personally use PhotoBucket and it works smoothly. What part of AZ are you located? I'm in NW Phx and if we're close, maybe I could help you out. On edit: I see you're from San Luis. Probably too far to help in person.
  19. Glad to have you with us Antony. Looking forward to seeing some of your work.
  20. Welcome back Weldy. This hobby has really changed in the last 20 years. Lots to catch up on.
  21. Looking forward to whatever you come up with Ray. I'm sure it will be awesome.
  22. Yesterday I received some new tires in the mail from RodneyBad that will work out just perfectly with a little finesse. These tires are from a Mercedes G kit and are just the right height, width and the thread pattern is generic enough to look the part. The builders on this forum are amazing with their generosity and that is why it feels like family. Thanks so much Rodney. Here's a couple of pictures showing how I'll need to get them to work. The rim diameter is a bit too large so I cut some sheet styrene to fit the inside of the solid tire and also had to add a thin piece of Evergreen to the outside diameter of the inner hub. I'll let th pics help diagram what i've done. Here's how they look on the front. I like the fit compared to the original photos. Plus I got a bit more work done on the camper base. Its coming together slowly. Comments welcome and thanks for following my progress.
  23. Stellar update Art. Love those wheels. That color looks spot on.
