  1. Finished up my 92 Caprice tonight. Had this kit years ago hen it as a new car, decided I anted a second chance at it since I haven't seen many done. Built box stock except for lowering the rear a bit. Painted Testors Graphite Dust to try to match it to a Crown Vic I already have.
  2. Looks the part of a Police car to me. It has that front end squat our Chargers have ( told thats from the weight of that bar on the front ) the Wheels look right decals even look great. What is the difference I'm not seein from the SRT and this kit ??
  3. Built this for a friend. It's pretty much out of the box. did what was needed to use the custom grille with the custom bumper. basically sawed the mount for the bumper off the stock grille and used it to attach the bumper to the truck. Sprayed it with Testors Purple-licious. Used Krylon gold on the engine. I inteded to make it look like a street cruiser but dunno think maybe I went a bit too Show truck on it lol
  4. Looks like a few of the Ford F250s will be wearing these I'd think
  5. Some of us may just remember what a specific part came from. Others like me are bad about raiding virgin kits for said parts lol, then bein mad later cause said kit is missing part lol. I'm sure some may even label what they came from. I personally like to try to remember whats what so when folks ask I'm not sittin there lookin stupid " UH UH UH " Like this car I took a majority of this car from other kits MPCs 74&78 prostock kits Interior is from a diecast pinto, engine is from a revell 32 with valve covers from a newer 5.0, wheels from a daytona kit .... hehehe. See I figured I'd look pretty silly tryin to say I built a street car from a race car if I have no idea what it came from lol
  6. I found it kind of Bizarre that it was moving in any direction ........ hehehe
  7. Thanks for the compliments guys. As for the patterns, it's all decals. I don't have the skill otheres on here do to paint those patterns. Aside from the parts sourced from other kits she's all box stock
  8. Don't let it bein the wrong kit stop ya from building it. As a Delray I personally would find that more enjoyable to build or even look at on the site here than your cookie cutter Bel Airs that are always being done
  9. Finally finished up my 65 Impala SS. I received this from a friend who told me it was missing the lowrider parts. I thought "cool I aint into Lowriders anyway, I'll just build a hot rod or something" Well as ya can see in the pics, that plan went out the window. I really liked the decal on the trunk so I scrounged up the wheels from one of my T bird kits and a Steering wheel from my parts box and went at it. What came out was my first Lowrider. I'm happy with how it came out.
  10. thanks for the compliments guys I really appreciate them Mike I did paint the trim Did it as per pics and a 1/1 I got to look over at work a few days ago. Only the trim along the bottom of the glass and the B pillars were black on both sources. I did break away from the Pics of the SRT and follow the non SRT one at work by doing the mirrors and the spoiler above the rear glass in black.
  11. I have to agree with Eric I figured the Cafe Racer for a light custom mustang I too decided it was an 81 I got the priveledge of building mine from a complete kit about a year ago Cafe Racer I wish you luck on gettin yours rebuilt like ya say it looks to be not to bad
  12. Finished up my Maggie last night pretty straight forward build painted Testors 1 coat Mythical Maroon
  13. Used to have a few parts from one of these wish I'd had enough to make it look as good as this one Khart/wisdonm It is supposed to be the Pontiac Engine from what I've read
  14. I know a fella that uses the Id Mastermodeler ....He does pretty good I think ...
  15. Finished up my F250 a few days ago. Built it pretty much box stock except making new wheels and doin a body lift on it this shot shows how high the body was lifted off the frame And a comparison during build up next to the stock height 350
  16. the Dually was the 350. Got one of them lurking around too as a flatbed
  17. No I believe it is the original issue got it in a trade awhile back ..... then Revell reissues it lol
  18. Thats a pretty dang Wicked black paint job. Here's what I accomplished in the last hour or so. Removed the floor pans from the fram so I could do a body lift on this truck
  19. I like the idea of this But I might suggest dumping the T bird Engine I don't think that little 2.3 would be enough to power a big bad drag car
  20. Got my KR finished today. Built almost box stock with a change of tires dropping the suspension a hair and fixing the Airfilter to at least look correct. Car is painted One Coat Deja Blue with the kit Silver stripes. The only part of the build that I'm not sure represents a KR is the interior with the Blue seat and door inserts. Family pic
  21. Jared, the Ranger looks good Could actually see something like it riding around
  22. Finished this one up today with the addition of decals. Revells Audi R8 built box stock in black. I chose to use the molded clear parts for the grilles instead of the provided mesh. It's nice that you have the option of what to use for grilles. Real nice kit only issue I had was the chassis to body fit, and that was just due to how close everything was made. Kudos to Revell on this kit !! Will note for other builders the decal for the grille on the rear spoiler is a silver only decal.
  23. Shop is great !! At first I was like whats he gonna do with that little garage. Then I see the whole Layout I like it. But Dangit!! thse little cars are freaky ...... I have some HO scale cars but could not imagine even trying to build one
  24. I'm not much a Highboy fan, I like mine channeled an all, but this one caght my eye. I like it May have to rethink my stance on Highboys.
