Yeah it's really that old, from an original AMT kit I had as a kid. The body was left over from the double "T" kit. I always thought the original kit came with three bodys including the tall "T". I don't know for sure but, I always had this extra body.
Very nice and great story! One of my all time favourite builds has to be my first ride. Hope you had as much fun with building yours as I did building mine.
Nice! Love the detail, the wood floor, mechanical brakes, doors, gauges, wires, hoses, paint, decals, I love it all. What a great job on the old AMT flathead! It appears you had the real 1:1 to look at, great job!
Still praying for you Manny, You are in my thoughts throughout the day. I can only imagine the pain of your loss. Time does heal and she will always be with you in your heart.
This is starting to look a lot like one of those "OLD NAVY" trucks. I love the weathering, like everybody else, especially on the interior. You have the dirty in all the right places! Love your work!!!!
I guess you probably know the windows fit from the outside, I missed that on my first one. Also the wheels are a little tricky to center in the openings A little test fit before glueing the springs in place may help. (Never mind you already have that, any problem with this issue?) Nice color choices.
Thanks for the comments guys, now some more fun! A friend donated a little skull I am useing for a radiator cap and a small gas pedal, thanks Tom. I put some sparkely on the seats and that's about it for now.
