Wow! Not what I was expecting, "Just another '57 Chevy". I never will get bored with '57s but, this is not just out of the box, it's out of the ball park and I love it!
Update; Been sanding on this one, removed the exhaust, back seat, gas tank and unwanted sheet metal. Smoothed interior some, now to start on roll cage. The front lower A arms were robbed from the Black Widow '57.
I was real happy with the finish on this one except for one little spot on the driver's door. I tried matching the paint a minimum of four times and failed each time with the spot growing each time. Actually the paint was perfect until I masked it off to spray the headliner a lighter color, which bleed through the tape. Anyway the end result speaks for it's self. My Junk Yard Dog one and only Mustang.
Your interior is looking good, I like the way you detailed the dash. Good to see you back at it. I've been sick the last couple of weeks, I know your pain.
Very cool!!! I like the way you rounded off the taillights like a later Vette. The tape on the headlights also a nice touch and the windshield is very cool. The Mobile Oil Horse is the finishing touch, I love it!
Nice, I'm with you on the old box art look and you nailed it even better with the chrome wheels. Can't wait for some more pictures at different angles.
Your engine looks awesome! Already notice you have a wire coming from the tachometer, one detail I love to see. The decals also look great. I love it so far!
