Great looking Camero. The gun metal color is really nice. Is there an easy AMT car kit? I haven't found one. ?

Thanks guys. I appreciate it. No, it wasn't terribly easy to assemble. Well, some parts, anyway. I think the air cleaners are too high because the hood doesn't fit right. The holes in the hood don't line up with the air cleaners. Thanks. The AMT sticker is the only thing that wasn't from the kit.

Here is my AMT/Polar Lights Snap Fit 1965 Dodge Coronet 500. It is essentially built straight from the box, and it wasn't without its issues. The color is Rust-Oleum Spa Blue. Trim was some with a 2mm Molotow chrome pen. Some interior shots:

AMT 1972 Chevrolet Pickup Steering Wheel
Jim B replied to Jim B's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
Must be because of the Coke machine getting stuffed into the box. -
I am currently building the AMT 1972 Chevrolet Pickup (Coke Edition Kit): And I was wondering about other people's experiences with the kit's stock steering wheel. When Chris (hpiguy) did his review, the steering wheel is his kit was mangled, and the one in my kit is mangled pretty badly, too. Is this just an issue with this edition of the kit, or is it an issue with all of the issues? Thanks.

It is with a heavy heart that I inform the Truck Modeling Community of the passing of Gary Wallace of GW Trucks. Gary was one of my "truck model friends", as my wife calls you guys. I had the pleasure to know him, and go to his show in Fulton, NY, several times. He was a big name in the truck modeling community here in Central New York, and I know several of you guys have used his products. He will be missed. Here is a link to his obituary from the Oswego County Today: Gary Wallace – Oswego County Today And now you know as much as I do. I only learned about this today from a couple other mutual friends.
