    '70 Chevelle

Really nice looking Chevelle. Very well done. My biggest issue with this kit was the fit of the grill & headlight. What a pian in the headlight bucket that was!
  8. Really nice Camero.
  9. Pretty cool race car.
  10. Does anyone know the actual make & model of the AMT/MPC/Ertl Gravel Trailer kit? I think it's a 1971-ish, but is it a Fruehauf? Thanks.
  11. Great looking Thunderbird!
  12. Great looking Cobra. Might have to look into one of these. It looks longer that the Fujimi kit. ?
  13. That's pretty cool. Is that the Revell kit?
  14. Nice looking Chevelle. Very well done.
  15. Thanks for the link. Yes, those are a little pricy. Looks like the "newest" car is the Toyota GR010 Hybrid, which is the successor to the Tamiya Toyota TS050 Hybrid.
  16. Nice looking truck. Too bad about the windshield, though.
  17. Does anyone know if there are any kits available of the newer Le Mans Prototype (LMP1, LMP2, etc.) cars? I know Tamiya makes a Toyota TS050 Hybrid, but I was hoping for one of the new Cadillac DPi-V.R.
  18. Great looking Crown Vic. Well done.
  19. Great looking Mustangs. Very well done.
  20. Great looking P-40. Well done.

    GTO

Nice looking GTO. My experience with Tamiya spray paint has been hit or miss, but when it works, it really looks nice.
  25. I've had plenty of disasters, missteps, and blunders along the way while building models. Most involve the lack of connection between my imagination & my fingers; however, my most recent blunder involved the AMT Mercury Club Coupe & my painting ability (or lack thereof). I am building the AMT Mercury Club Coupe as Sheriff from Cars, so black with white doors. I get the body all painted & decaled, and I'm applying the clear coat when the body flips off the paint stand into the dust! Since it's Tamiya paint, stripping turned out to be a nightmare, so I procured another body & started the process all over. I masked off the body, and painted the interior, and here is where the blunder occurred: I left the masking tape on the body too long & the body was covered in sticky residue that wouldn't come off! Maybe someone is trying to tell me something. ?
