  1. That's pretty cool. Very "West Coast". What makes it a W922?
  2. I guess, on the plus side, they don't take up that much shelf space.
  3. It is a pretty small scale. I do like it. I'm probably not going to try one, but I do like it.
  4. That's pretty cool. I'm guessing this is for a model RR? Also, that's a W923, not a W925.
  5. How huge? Floats in the front, too?
  6. That should be an interesting video.
  7. Looks really nice. I've heard these kits are an absolute bear to build!
  8. I agree. Lots of little details that are really impressive in person.
  9. Thanks, Tom. It was a learning experience.
  10. Maybe this isn't the thread to post this in, but whatever. Is it just me, or does that look like a Federation starship in the lower left corner of the photo? And what's that red car on the right?
  11. Fantastic build. Lots of great details in this one.
  12. Thanks, Charlie. Ken, the fifth wheel might be simple, but that lift mechanism sure isn't! As I was building mine, I was wondering what the load capacity was. Three tons? Five, maybe? Don't know. I have seen photos of Mack AC trucks with Renault FT17 tanks in the back, and those are 7.2 tons; but I don't know if those Army versions had heavier suspensions or not.
  13. No, I don't. It was just a curiosity question.
  14. So, what is the load capacity of an actual 48ft spread axle flatbed trailer? I'm guessing from the photo, this one is probably "aluminum" and not "steel".
