  1. Nice looking selection of Macks. Paint looks nice & smooth. That Benjamin Moore Safety Tangerine Orange might be just what the doctor ordered for my Yellow Freight K100 as it looks close to Swamp Holly Orange. Maybe.
  2. I think it looks really nice, and I especially like the 3-color interior. David is right, though; black can be very unforgiving. Looks like you did a nice job on the body. The air cleaner could even be pink, like K&N. It's not cheap, though! It's $368.
  3. Fantastic looking Marmon. Very well done.
  4. That looks great, Jeff. Very well done.
  5. Fantastic job. Great weathering.
  6. That looks awesome. Well done.
  7. If you don't have any luck with Dan's Models, Motor City Resin Casters has a 1963 N600 trans kit available: http://motorcityresincasters.com/63N600.htm I have one, and it's quite nice. Not nearly as detailed as the one from Dan, but still a nice kit. Just an alternative.
  8. And just in case you can't get enough Coca-Cola, Round2 is releasing a Coca-Cola decal pack: This is available for $10 over at Free Time Hobbies (and other placed, I'm sure). I think the Texaco decal sheet will be more useful:
  9. The ProStar makes a great fleet truck, and you did a good job with this one.
  10. I just saw a truck very similar to this driving down some Massachusetts street on NBC Nightly News.
  11. Those are spanner wrenches. They are used to tighten or loosen hose couplings.
  12. I look forward to more updates. Should be an interesting build.
  13. The engine in the AMT GMC General kit is a Detroit Diesel 8V92N. This article should help you in plumbing the engine: https://public.fotki.com/modeltrucks25thscale/model_magazine_articles/car_modeller/cm07_may_1991_detro/ As for the air brakes, this one should help with that: https://public.fotki.com/modeltrucks25thscale/model_magazine_articles/car_modeller/cm03_sept_1990_truc/ These articles are very helpful: https://public.fotki.com/modeltrucks25thscale/model_magazine_articles/car_modeller/ Good luck with your project. This "might" help withy some additional detailing: https://public.fotki.com/modeltrucks25thscale/truck_brochures/gmc/gmc_general/
  14. My God! That's tiny! Is that a toothpick?
  15. I didn't think there was any doubt that the 3406 was offered in the 9000-series just whether it was offered in the LNT9000 as well as the LT9000. From the 1987 brochure, the 3406B was offered in the "Ready to Work" LT-9000-702, LT-9000-703, LT-9000-708, LT-9000-710, & LTS-9000-705 The 1993 brochure, shows that the 3406C was only available on the L-9000 & LT-9000: Now, that doesn't mean that someone couldn't have stuffed a 3406 into a LNT9000 glider, or into a truck that blew a different engine.
  16. Interesting. There must be one heck of doghouse in the cab. Got a shot of that?
  17. Jeff, I was looking on that site for something else, and I remembered their diorama parts.
  18. Scale Equipment Ltd. offers one for $4.95: http://www.seltd.net/cgi-bin/ez-catalog/cat_display.cgi?account=X344897;search=5;search=Plumbing;limit=category;v=2.0 Hope that helps.
  19. Awesome work. Even in 1/6 scale, this has a bigger engine than the Honda Grom or the Kawasaki Z125 Pro!
  20. This is coming along great, Charlie. Wonderful details.
  21. The name of the movie was "Real Steel" staring Hugh Jackman & Dakota Goyo. Decent movie if your into robot boxing.
