I might take a 2-story Falcon, too; if the price was right. Wonder if the front logo could be "Diesel" or "Super Duty". Heck, I might just be happy with the logo!
Interesting. From the fact they are being pulled by Kenworths with long frames, I'd say they were from out West. Do you think they could be Brown trailers?
While were on the subject of the 1941 Chevrolet, would anyone happen to have a spare front license plate bracket from this kit (P/N 23)? I need a second one, and I'd like it to match the other one.
Thanks!
Hypothetical question: is it possible to convert the 1970s era AMT Fruehauf van trailer into a 1950s era trailer? Reason I ask is that one of my future builds will be a 1950 Ford F8 tractor, and I'd like something "period correct" to put behind it.
You can check with Gary Wallace of GW Trucks (gwtrucks@yahoo.com). He may have some. He doesn't have a Website, but email him that photo; and he might be able to hook you up. Also, KJ at Double Take Replicas might have them as well.
This should be a cool project. I like the photos of your inspiration truck (nice Kawasaki in the background, too).
Model kits are meant to be built, at least that's my take on it.
