  1. Here is a video of a Boeing 777 made completely from manila folders. This is a little (ok, a lot) above my skill level!
  2. Pretty neat! Do you have a 5-ton or a Duce an a half to tow them?
  3. Pretty cool kits. 1/4" scale is the same a 1/48 scale.
  4. The resin cab of the 2-story Falcon that I've seen was by The Backyard Shed. Don't know if it's still available.
  5. I might take a 2-story Falcon, too; if the price was right. Wonder if the front logo could be "Diesel" or "Super Duty". Heck, I might just be happy with the logo!
  6. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. It's still a long tunnel, though!
  7. That's pretty cool. Looks a little like a Ford Model AA.
  8. I'm guessing that these would be too small for a 1950 Ford F8?
  9. That is the daunting part.
  10. Would the torsion bar suspension actually handle a mixer body? I thought it was a light weight suspension.
  11. Interesting. From the fact they are being pulled by Kenworths with long frames, I'd say they were from out West. Do you think they could be Brown trailers?
  12. Thanks, KJ. That is a good starting point. Looks possibly doable.
  13. While were on the subject of the 1941 Chevrolet, would anyone happen to have a spare front license plate bracket from this kit (P/N 23)? I need a second one, and I'd like it to match the other one. Thanks!
  14. Hypothetical question: is it possible to convert the 1970s era AMT Fruehauf van trailer into a 1950s era trailer? Reason I ask is that one of my future builds will be a 1950 Ford F8 tractor, and I'd like something "period correct" to put behind it.
  15. Excellent job, Tom. Very well done.
  16. Great looking dumper. Well done.
  17. Jeff, you know you wouldn't build it OOB!
  18. Forgot about AITM. I have purchased 2-hole & 5-hole wheels from him in the past. They are quite nice.
  19. Those rain caps loom fantastic! Very well done.
  20. Tim Ahlborn still has a site? I haven't seen anything from him in years.
  21. You can check with Gary Wallace of GW Trucks (gwtrucks@yahoo.com). He may have some. He doesn't have a Website, but email him that photo; and he might be able to hook you up. Also, KJ at Double Take Replicas might have them as well.
  22. This should be a cool project. I like the photos of your inspiration truck (nice Kawasaki in the background, too). Model kits are meant to be built, at least that's my take on it.
