  1. Pretty cool looking tractor, but like Leo said, the infrastructure for hydrogen powered vehicles just doesn't exist.
  2. Very nice job on the I-16. I like the weathering.
  3. Nice looking Ford. Well done.
  4. I don't think the torsion bar would be a good choice with a low-boy. The torsion bar is a lightweight suspension, so you're better off with a heavy duty spring suspension or a 6-rod. So you know, the spring suspension in the KW kits is a 38000# suspension, and would probably be too light as well.
  5. Nice looking Transtar. Well done.
  6. Should be interesting. Looks a little like a cross between the F20 & the F16.
  7. Pretty sure I saw one at Hobby Lobby the other day.

  10. Nicely done! Will I be seeing this one in Fulton?
  11. Jerry over at Model Truckin' has wood grain decals (bottom of the page): http://www.modeltruckin.com/store/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=2_144&zenid=4fc432279a23a84bf62ab7fa87390c19 Not sure if that's what you're looking for, though.
  12. Thanks, Tom. I should just build more period! Next up is a 1/2500 USS Enterprise-A from Star Trek.
  13. Yes, I'm going to use #17 for the trunk & #19 for the horn button. David, Thanks for the information on the engine colors. I just went with what the instructions said which was Ford Engine Red. It's difficult to find accurate information on the factory colors as original photos are in black & white, and most color photos that I found were of show cars with lots of chrome. Since I'm planning on building this kit again ad a police car, I am going to use the Thunderbird valve cover decals on that engine, and the other pair of badging decals. Here is the WIP Thread for the Fire Chief's Car if anyone is interested:
  14. Nicely done.
  15. Thanks, Craig. That's kind of what I was thinking, too. I'll go with 17 & 19.
  16. Ok, I have a question for the Ford Guys. I am currently building the Revell 1957 Ford Custom Police Car as a Fire Chief's car. Revell gives several different badging options for the engine, trunk, & steering wheel. The options for the engine are "Ford V8" and "Thunderbird V8", I chose the standard V8 for my model: Now, my question is this. Shown below are the different badging options for the trunk (16 or 17) and the steering wheel (18 & 19): Which badging would be correct for a 1957 Ford Custom with the standard V8, or doesn't it really matter? Thanks in advance.
  17. Thanks, Carl.
  18. Got some more work done on the Fire Chief's car this weekend: Need to add the decal to the steering wheel:
  19. To me, the rivets just look too big, and I think they would be smooth rivets anyway. I think the headlights are too high on the kit, but I don't know how much they need to be lowered.
  20. The information that I have is that the kit represents a 2003.
  21. That's a pretty cool looking combination. Nice details.
