Thanks, Trevor! I did use the metal transfers, and I had the same problem you did. They would barely stick to the model, but stuck like crazy to the carrier film. I ended up placing each one individually and gluing them on with Future. A pain in the shorts but it worked.
Thanks, Curt! I was checking one out in the pits at the Vintage Races last year. They are small! Maybe I could have fit when I was 18...
It was fun to watch it race, tho. Fast!
I know what you mean. Standing next to one, the roof is about the height of my navel. If I ever did get in one, I'm sure I'd never get out again.
Thanks, Ray!
Lately I've had one car and one aircraft going. Because they're so different, I don't get distracted, and it seems like there's always something to do on one while the other is waiting.
That's an amusing picture, bouncing it like a basketball! After your comment, I was thinking about adding a load of gravel, but your steel plate idea is interesting too.
Thanks Dan! This kit can be built without the plow and salt spreader. Then you would have a plow and spreader for some other vehicle.
There are a couple of strange things about this kit. It has a nice engine, but no fan or radiator. There is also no "glass" for the back window. The hood doesn't open, so I didn't worry about the radiator. A piece of clear from a blister pack made a back window.
