AMT kit. The paint is Testors Silver with some Gloss Black mixed in. I guess everybody knows this is a funky old kit with one piece chassis and interior. Still, the body looks pretty good to me and it has a decent fuel injected engine. I left it as is except trying to improve the tail lights and exhaust. I would have liked to fix the mold seams on the bumpers, but I haven't figured out Alclad and a test with Molotow looked silver compared to the kit chrome. The knockoffs looked kind of clunky to me so I left them off. Still need to add a license plate. Thanks for looking. Advice and comments always welcome.
I've had this kit for a while. I went to see 4012 in Scranton, PA last year, and it inspired me to build it. I'm sure someone that knows what they're doing could have done a better job, but I enjoyed it. Thanks for looking.
Really well done! I particularly like the chassis, interior, and wheels. Great color too. I owned the SR5 version of this car back in the day, so I have a soft spot for them.
Lindberg kit. Testors square bottle "Yellow". This is a nice kit, except no brakes. Some flat washers and homemade calipers fixed that. It's far from flawless but here it is.
I know this is a silly question, but does your compressor have a tank, and if so, have you drained it? It's amazing how much water will accumulate in a tank in a short time.
