  1. Thanks, Tulio! And thanks for pointing out that detail. I'll try to catch that on the next one.
  2. Thanks, Joe!
  3. Thanks, Christopher! Thanks, Cliff! Thanks, Marty!
  4. Thanks, Carl! Thanks, Snake!
  5. Thanks, Dan!
  6. Thanks, Lee! I use an airbrush and a light spray of Tamiya Transparent Orange.
  7. Thanks, Brian! Thanks, Jim! Thanks, Bob! Thanks, Keith! Thanks, Dave! Thanks, Johnny!
  8. AMT kit. The paint is a mixture of Testors square bottle Maroon and Gloss Black. OOB except wiring, and I changed the quarter windows to clear plastic from a blister pack. Thanks for looking!
  9. I liked everything about the Revell kit except the fit issue where the front fascia meets the hood. I could find no way to line up everything without leaving the gap you can see in the photo. Some pre-fitting and adding a strip of plastic to the hood would probably fix it, but I already had mine painted when I discovered it.
  10. That looks great. Love the color.
  11. My apologies for being slow to reply. My computer died last week. But anyway... Thanks, Anthony! Thanks, Jim! Thanks, Bruce!
  12. Thanks, David!
  13. Thanks, Dann!
  14. I can see why it would be a struggle. Just those little tiny nails would be a challenge for me. Regardless, you're doing a great job and it looks cool. Once you get 75 feet of rope wrapped around it, it will really look like something!
  15. These are the ones from the Lindberg Dodge 330. I put them on a Dart.
  16. Yeah, the picture of the back end sitting on the yellow box shows the kit parts on the left, and homemade tail lights on the right. They are aluminum tubing with new lenses. Compared to the 1:1 lights, I just couldn't live with those AMT lights. I never thought about the front turn signals. I just painted the lenses amber. You're right, they would look better with a chrome bezel behind them.
  17. That's a mean lookin' Vette. Nice job.
  18. Thanks, Snake! The exhausts were the easy part, the tail lights a little more involved. I look forward to seeing you put your Snake-fu on your Vettes.
  19. Nice job!
  20. That was fast! And came out good too. I bought that kit too, and haven't opened it yet. Are those wheels in the kit?
  21. Thanks Anthony! My favorite years for Vettes too.
  22. Thanks, Keith! Thanks, Anders!
  23. AMT kit. The paint is Testors Silver with some Gloss Black mixed in. I guess everybody knows this is a funky old kit with one piece chassis and interior. Still, the body looks pretty good to me and it has a decent fuel injected engine. I left it as is except trying to improve the tail lights and exhaust. I would have liked to fix the mold seams on the bumpers, but I haven't figured out Alclad and a test with Molotow looked silver compared to the kit chrome. The knockoffs looked kind of clunky to me so I left them off. Still need to add a license plate. Thanks for looking. Advice and comments always welcome.
  24. If you just need a little, put on rubber gloves, go outside, and spray some in a Solo cup.
