  1. Thanks Greg! I think it would be tough adding X-planes in 1/72 scale. I remember building the X-3 as a kid, it was about the right size, IIRC.
  2. You're welcome. That Ferrari engine looks fantastic in every way.
  3. Very nice!
  4. Another nice one, Jim!
  5. https://www.micronmeters.com/product/miniature-insulated-wire-34-awg-uaa-uba I believe they have a 50 foot minimum. There are several colors, and they have 32 AWG as well. 34 AWG works perfectly with R&M of MD pre-drilled distributor caps.
  6. I use 34 AWG insulated wire, but if you want 30 AWG insulated, I got six rolls: 2 red, 2 black, 2 aluminum, at Dollar Tree for $1.
  7. Cats are computer geniuses. I was about to open this thread when mine jumped on the keyboard and turned off my wi-fi. I have no idea how to do that, but he does.
  8. I've only done this once, but it seems to have worked OK. I cut little "donuts" from foam pipe insulation, and put them inside the tires.
  9. WOW! Beautiful model of a beautiful car. I will follow your second one.
  10. I don't know what's rare and what isn't, but I do have some oddball kits, and will build as many as I'm able. Here are two: Monogram Land Rover Tamiya Lotus Europa

    Nicely done!
  12. Thanks, Mike! Thanks, John!
  13. Thanks, Bruce! Everything you said is true. They definitely had the Right Stuff.
  14. Thanks, Chris! Thanks, Oscar!
  15. Looks great. Excellent craftsmanship!
  16. Thanks, Snake. I have a 1/72 F-104 kit, but I think I am going to put that in the "Cold War" department. However, it was one of the chase planes for the XB-70, so maybe I'll have to do two of them, and follow your advice. An F-15 would be cool! They had one parked right next to the B1-B at the USAF museum.
  17. This is from the Monogram "B-52 with X-15" kit. I wanted to add it to my "Go Fast" display. All the kits in the group are 1/72 scale, which gives you an idea how big the XB-70 is. I will build the B-52 when I figure out where the heck I'm going to put it! Thanks for looking.
  18. Thanks, Bo!
  19. That is very nicely done! The Alclad around the windows looks great. You must have done some very careful masking.
  20. Thanks, Donald!
  21. Nicely done!

  23. Thanks, Chris!
