  1. Just a heads up, if you connect the exhaust pipe to the engine like the instructions say, you wont be able to attach the interior bucket to the frame ?, attach it after you join them together.
  2. Gonna be ordering one in the next few days
  3. Thanks Justin, l learned something new?
  4. Sorry to hear this Carl, wishing you the best.
  5. Justin, yes, a lot of chrome trim is a big turn off for me, and its one of the reasons why I rarely build anything pre 1980, I loathe BMF, while the result looks great, I just don't enjoy the process of applying it one bit, but the end result of course is worthwhile, its interesting to hear that its a big turn off to the casual builders, but I can't say I am surprised either. NMF?
  6. Ive used small strainers in the past to get the small parts out , only took doing that a ............handful of times for me to start using smaller containers ?
  7. No kidding Steve, nothing is more fun then trying to fish out a very small out of a large container of the Purple stuff?, I do the same, use smaller containers for those small parts( purple and alcohol)
  8. Right, I hope the first one they do is the Calsonic, and I would be surprised if it wasnt.
  9. I was at first questioning the decision to do it , but was reminded of all the Group A possibility then it made sense, and I should of known , silly me to question Hasegawa. Ive built 3 of Tamiya's R31 kits( 1 original and 2 of the NIsmo) and yeah, the tooling does show the age but build do build up nicely. I agree with Silvester about the trunk mold lines, its bad. I am more looking forward to seeing what GrA stuff they do, I am pretty sure they are going to one in Calsonic livery and that will please me.
  10. I believe they are still doing that.
  11. Ive been communicating with him since April , but he hasnt been able to do anything yet because of the lack of intl mail service going out of SK.
  12. Thats cool, gonna have to get this one
  13. Of course , thats how it works ?
  14. While I have no interest in this subject, its good to see Revell doing a new domestic tool, and like Justin said, this will kill that silly notion that New Revell was not going to spend money on new domestic tooling .
  15. Its $27 because they have included the shipping into the sale price, if you look at prices of the paints at a UK hobby store before you add shipping, you can see they are around the same price as Tamiya , https://www.wonderlandmodels.com/products/revell-14ml-01-enamel-gloss-clear/?exchange_rate=3
  16. Very nice work, welcome back to the hobby.
  17. I like it, what color is it?(its one those in between green/yellow shades)
  18. Because steelies and caps are awesome, that's why, don't open the hood and you can pretend it has the base model engine, and lets be honest, all plastic model kit interiors look like they have vinyl floors , so bring"em on!.....But I am going to be using the wheels from the AMT El Camino on mine. When I said tool up, I was thinking resin caster/3D printed, not Revell doing the tooling.
  19. I am gonna take that in a good way ?
  20. And here I am wanting or wishing we could get a set stock wheels tooled up for it, like the steelies and caps or the rallys
