  1. You need one Bill. Great results can be had with little work. 'Course, I realize you'll prolly have to do something extra to it.
  2. A look inside before we see the outside. Revell's WoF '63 split rear window Corvette coupe. Painted Palomar Red from Rainbow IIRC. Badges done with Sharpies! There's no plate as it's going in the showroom. At least for now.
  3. I was born in '68 so today and most of my adult modelling life is what I consider to be a "Golden Age". There's so much choice, variety, etc. that I don't know if I could have made do back in the wasteland of the '70's before resin, (easily obtainable) custome mixed lacquer paints and etc..
  4. Ya know....the first thing I do with a new kit is sand the tread. I must have done that to it yet it doesn't look like it. I'll have to do something about that. Thanks for the kind words guys!
  5. OK. Been wicked busy since I asked but this is how it looks now. The interior is finished. No pics. yet. Hope to work on it/finish it over the weekend.
  6. I quote from my can, "ELO has been made to work safely on most plastics and metals." Does that answer your question Billy?
  7. The Corvette Guy a.k.a. The Corvette Guru. How in the heck do I detail the wheels that come in the Revell WoF release? Don't have any pics. of that wheel in any of my Corvette reference books.
  8. It's been finsihed about a week now. Pardon me for taking so long to post pics.. Been fretting over a new PC. Finally took the plunge last night and bought a Dell. Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Yeah. I know about the hood. There's a few other minor details that need to be looked at before it hits the road. 9. Guess I musta missed those. Time to start paying attention.
  10. The ones I seen on eBay have been going for $20 or more. My pucker point for just about any kit on eBay is $15 give or take.
  11. Darn you Izzy! I've been trying to get one for a decent price from EvilBay. Now I go and see yours and I want one even worse.
  12. Your plan is to what? Organize the hobby?
  13. Beautiful job Steve.
  14. Yes. Couldn't find my Duesey Town Car yesterday. Went through all the spots it could possibly be and nada. Finally found it this morning.
  15. I'm thinking George means the type that you show to the police.
  16. Will I be able to cash that cheque anytime in my lifetime Dan?
  17. You've had the pleasure of meeting one of the two people I wanna meet besides Peterson. The other is George Bojackiuk and I just know I've assinated the spelling of your family name George. Please excuse me. I'm not fully caffeinated yet.
  18. Here's the little Deere. Notice how they cut corners on the steering wheel. I would have expected the X series to dwarf the Kubota but it's the other way around. I'm thinking someone's scales/sizes are mixed up. I've sat on an X series and it's bigger than it shows here. The Deere fits perfectly in the bed. The Kubota doesn't.
  19. Think and think is the operative word you can find them in the Revell Saleen Mustang kit. I "know" what's in the kit are aftermarket mufflers. Might or might not be what you're looking for. I also know that the company name is cast in on the mufflers. Does this help?
  20. The truck and tractor are here. Pics. have been taken and uploaded but Fotki don't want me to share right now. I'll post 'em shortly. I hope.
  21. Now I gotta buy ANOTHER Z06! Darn you Leon!
  22. You sure aren't. Still debating whether if I need/want the Versahandler.
  23. Aw heck. Seeing as I'm signed in to Fotki..... Ertl's Bobcat model 325 compact excavator. Again, most everything is positionable. Not the same quality as the Kubotas but still must haves in my book. Bobcat S250 skid loader. Even has the safety bar/belt in the "cockpit". Bobcat T200 skid loader. It's been awhile but I think I paid about $20 each for the Bobcats. As I Said before, not the same quality but still gotta haves for me. My John Deere X series tractor isn't here yet. I'll show you that once it gets here.
