This looks fantastic! I agree that the R34 wheels work much better...have you considered painting them a steel or gunmetal color? Still darker than the kit chrome, but not so dark that they lose detail...

There is a hobby shop in town that is closing its doors, sadly...the owners are retiring...so I picked up one of these. For $4, why not. Does anyone know the best method to remove the pre-printed graphics? I could just prime and paint over, but I'm afraid the graphics will just sort of show as a raised area underneath the paint. Ideas and thoughts would be much appreciated!

I stopped by my local Michael's yesterday. They had a handful of kits that were on clearance, but the clearance price was $11.99-12.99, so I passed.

The KMET and KLOS decals on the rear just seal the deal for me...that's gorgeous!

I just picked this kit up at Hobby Lobby, and the box reads 1/24 scale.

Does anyone know what type of paint the ColorPlace spray paint from Walmart is? I use it frequently for smaller parts, but recently used it on a body, with unfavorable results. It didn't seem like the 91% alcohol I usually use did much good on it...any suggestions?
