After a long time, I finally won a Dairyland Express kit on eBay this evening. Who among you have built one? Could you please share some pics of your builds, so that I may be inspired? Thanks! Actual kit I won...

Just won a Monogram '56 T-Bird on eBay, waiting to see if I win the Monogram '71 Satellite from the same seller.

There is something inexplicably HOT about that car....I dig it!

I found this kit at Hobby Lobby on clearance, then they took another 25% off, so I ended up paying like $3.25...lol...it started as the purple Polar Lights DTO Drift car, so I just threw whatever paint and wheels I had at it. Testors Black lacquer, Shimrins pearl Green over a silver base, Testors Lacquer clear over all, and spare wheels from a Tamiya Skyline. The hood did not want to stay closed, so I had to remove the air intake and glue the hood shut, so this is a curbside. Hope y'all like it!

Nothing today, but I picked up the Polar Lights '05 GTO at Hobby Lobby yesterday for about $3.25. Gotta go back tomorrow for a couple cans of paint. Also...debating which Ferrari kit to order from HLJ with the proceeds of recent eBay Hot Wheels sales.

I could have sworn that I posted in this thread, but I guess not...lol My only car....2004 MINI Cooper: The car now also has white bonnet stripes, but I've yet to get a good pic...

Hiya kids....just wondering if anyone has built the Fujimi Ferrari 330P4 kit...I've been browsing around Hobbylink Japan's website, and this one really caught my eye. Does anyone have any biulding experiences with this kit, or pics of completed builds? Thanks in advance! Pic 4 views:

I use Tamiya Flat White acrylic right outta the jar, with a brush and a steady hand, with no problem...

I'll second that...this was a very vibrant red-orange plastic when I started...a couple coats of the Duplicolor sealer/primer and the Testors Lacquer Black, and all is good.

I had posted this in the "On The Workbench" forum, but with no replies on 185 views, I'm guessing people are sick of seeing these, but I'm gonna post it anyways... Testors Ultraviolet lacquer, hand-painted whitewalls, and I haven't seen any built yet with the steelies, so here ya go...

As a visual reference, this is what you get if you strip the chrome and then use 'em as is... BTW, Super super clean build!
