  1. Saturday I got a large set of micro number drills, another small set of micro drills, four bottles of Micro Mark mold casting silicone for $30. A box of kits from Dave Branson, and a sunburn from NHRA Nationals yesterday.
  2. Very little time at bench, piddling here and there. Body primed and making new dash for Bumblebee.

  9. Not a lot of bench time lately. Working on blending front valance, shaping flares, cleaning up wheels and chassis.
  10. I have been really short on bench time. But here's an update. Started blending front valance and working on flares and various parts.
  11. I too did not know much about Harry, but by everyone's comments and concern here, he must have a good man. I feel for the family as I can relate also. May the Lord be with his family!
  12. Got all this at the Stark Scale Model Show yesterday, which is my only local show. Lots of good people to work with and buy from.
  13. I took a piece of rectangular brass tubing, cut it two or three times( left one leg intact), radiused to match molding and resoldered. Smoothed out the solder, then super glued(on the fender well opening) and clamped brass in place. Used a razor blade to 'scrape out material and rescribed lines. It helped to blacken door lines to gage your progress. Once satisfied, I just removed brass guide and flipped for other side of body.
  14. '67 Bumblebee update. Removed side molding and carved in scale recess of the '67
  15. Here's a quick update. Removed side molding and carved in scale recess for the '67

  18. Fireball has some street strip slicks
  19. Since I'm this far comitted, I sprayed some white Tamiya primer over it to see if it would smooth out. So far it did, now I need more paint..... Drat!
  20. Beware of his castings, I bought a couple to check out his work, since they were going pretty cheap, boy are they ever!
  21. Well I will be doing one or two for another CPB, but I could showcase them here also.
  22. This is all lines where styrene came together in mold plus primer texture. No extensive body had to be done.
