  1. Ok what is something really dumb you have done in your life? When I was 16 maybe 17 I decided to jack my ford ltd up to change the rear brakes. It had the old style bumper jack. I picked the worst spot on the drivway to do this. The spot I picked had like a 30° angle upwards (ya you see where this is going) half way through the job I learned about a little thing called gravity lol. thank the good lord I was not near the car at the time. I just remember my mom running out in a panic.
  2. I have looked a couple places it looks like it isn't on blu-ray or dvd unless you want to spend $70.00 I hope they re-release it someday.

  7. I thinlk its the movie I'm thinking of but in 1 scene in the movie. Clint and jeff? A.k.a. thunderbolt and lightfoot. they get picked up by a guy in a car with a sky high rearend big motor and huge slicks IIRC. The car has me exhausted leak and crashes. First off is that the right movie Second What kind of car was that was it a Lincoln? IIRC. It was some kind of Fomoco.

  13. If you not afraid of needles they could give you a cortisone shot in that area it's a steroid that relieves the swelling for about six weeks I get them and it works for my back pain for about 2 1/2 months I know surgery is down the road but I am going to wait as long as possible because I never hear of a successful surgery on a back yet
  14. Ok guys remember the high in the sky rear ends usually with air shocks. I personal like the look of a little rake but when it looks like an ostrich with its head in the sand it looks goofy. What about mod tops and shag carpets Talking about rough rides and dangerous I had a neighbor friend who wanted his car to ride lower so he first cut a coil out then proceeded to heat the spring with oxy/ acetylene torch til it was red hot and I watched the car drop about three inches. Talk about unsafe at any speed.
  15. Very rusty build I like it
  16. Jabman you see a lot of that over in west broadway area I used to deliver parts over there and I have seen some crazy stuff with all types of vehicles. I know on a lot of those big rim are worth more then the car. I saw a geo prizm with a set of rims that more then doubled the heights of the car

  21. Mark I didn't say I didn't like the vans with murals it fact a lot of them were killer. But try and do that today it just wouldn't look right on a express van
  22. Hey I look at it this way #1. its all in good fun. I look back at things going on back in the 70's and 80's and shake my head at things we did like painting cars in the most obnoxious colors you could find, years of nothing but trailer queens and lets not forget the vans with a huge warrior murals back then. Also its my opinion you can't take that away and if there are folks that like that look on here great I want to hear there opinion on what they don't like to see. This is all for FUN I REPEAT FUN.
  23. I have been seeing it more and more these cars where they have the huge negative camber on all four wheels. So I got thinking why? Drivability--- nope no help there if one tire were to leave the ground the other would force the car in that direction. Tire wear--- no I don't think I need to explain this. Visual appeal ---- No it is as appealing as a buck toothed bow legged knobby kneed pigeon toed super model. So I am stumped is it a fad I don't get like huge rims (bigger looks good huge is dumb IMHO) fart can mufflers, giant wings on the back of fwd cars, excessive chrome and speakers that can wake the dead. Maybe I'm getting old lol
