  8. I'm on the other end of the spectrum enjoy their mods and harass them later in life my step son has ruid a couple of my models already but I take it for what it is. Because I know his kids will do the same to him!!
  9. First off I have to thank midnightprowler (localguy) (casey) and I'm so sorry but I forget but the great guy who traded me this a kit for my 59 impala! Thanks to you guys I have pulled off my finest build to date!! this is pretty much oob stock with the exception of plug wires. my image is of a guy just getting back from vietnam in 72-73 and landing a constuction job with the 71 ,duster he bought with his combat pay which he always sent his parents to hold for him back in 68-69 I see him walkin the high steel with no fear. Like my uncle Andy all be it I'm not positive on the years. A personal note I although the hard hat should say A.I. For my uncle (Andy I.) made it look the best I could to to my my fiance initials' Jacqui B. Who has encouraged me the whole way except for calling it my nerd time in a loving manner lol. I got tons of help from everbody and I know this isn't a 10 out of 10 I just want to thank everybody who helped directly or indirectly. I achieved my best model so far!!!

  19. thanks guys I learned a lot. Dispite the joke I do like these car's. I heard that the pacer holds the record as the production car to ever have most glass I can't remember how many sq ft it was.
  20. http://round2models.com/models/mpc/amc-pacer-x I was on round 2 website and saw this. Who has built it? I got to have one because it's like a pug dog so ugly but loveable in a way
  21. I just saw that round 2 is going to release the pacer x again
  22. Cool I'll have this on my list in Oct.

  24. He brought up a good point about a kit the AMT 71 duster is a very good looking kit it is my best looking model to date but it takes some filing of the body so the side glass will fit in it. Oh the dash was molded to thick so you have to sand down the the locating tabs to make it fit in the slots. Also being like the third kit I ever decaled all the decals are a lil fiddly.
  25. RLooks better then a superbird ever did IMHO
