  1. Thanks for all the motivation guys. Didn't get much done on this long weekend but I hope I can get more done this week. Guess we'll see. Next up is the cross member, 4 link, shocks, tabs, and exhaust. Challenging part is trying to figure out where the hell it's all going to fit. Any suggestions/photos are appreciated.
  2. Had gotten a package of them from homedepot awhile ago for some plumbing stuff and I finally found them in my tool box. I herd you can find some in CD players but I've never looked. Thanks Kevin
  3. Thanks again Albie. Hate to say this but I can't get that rocker to scrape the ground. I have done everything but it looks like I'll have to settle for it being a c*nt hair off the ground. Sucks but ahh well, what ya gonna do. Hahaha thanks doc, I'm giving it my all.
  4. Thanks Terry. I appreciate the correction, I'll have to change that. I must of sat there for five mins and just kept drawing a blank on what it was called, figured sway bar would be close enough.
  5. Thanks again Zac Thanks Stephen, much appreciated.
  6. Thanks Andy Thanks Samuel
  7. Thanks Luke Thanks Joe
  8. I've looked at all the benches in this topic and while there are some really nice set ups, this one tops them all for the view alone. You have a nice big bench and set up but that view is beautiful. I stared at it for a good 5+ mins. Would distract me for sure but i think modelbuilder mark is right, provides a great deal of inspiration.
  9. Coming along real nice Jeremy, lookin tough slammed with those pipes sticking out the side. Any plans on how your going to build the air ride setup? I'll keep my eye out for updates.
  10. Not only did the tie rod snap on me but it was also giving me clearance issues with the oil pan. I cut the middle bar out and fixed it. Then glued it back in place except I positioned it differently to clear the oil pan. Not sure if this is correct in 1:1 world but it works killer here. Still needs some sanding and body work. That's about it for right now. I'll try and get some more done over the long weekend. Hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving, comments always welcome.
  11. Wanted to see how my clearance would be to get the rocker on the ground so I put everything under the body and laid it on a flat surface. I noticed the front sat higher do to the skid plate, cross member, and the bolts on the x rails (I think it's called). You can see the hump on the skid plate and the bolts from the plate on the middle rails hanging down. I shaved them down so they were flush.
  12. After getting the final bag brackets done I glued them in place along with the bridge setup. I wanted it to be clean looking so I kept the round part on top of the brackets to match the two round bars of the bridge. Just noticed one of the bag bracket tabs is more rounded then the other. I'll have to fix that. I also notched the top part of the upper control arms to fit better.
  13. Wow! Been a while since my last update. Life gets in the way sometimes as I'm sure you guys know. I haven't done much but I do a little here, a little there and one day it'll be finished. Anyways, here's where I'm at. First I found these "O" rings, a little big but they'll do the trick. They are the reason there's so much room between the notch and rear end. Then I noticed they fit perfectly around the round part on the parts tree so I decided to use them as the bag brackets. I made some tabs for the bottom of the bag brackets out of some scrap tree.
  14. I love what your doing here Richard, what a cool combo. I really like the look of the 32 on the back on the first page but I think the salt lake racer on the back was the perfect choice. Can't wait to see where you take this, I love watching your build ups. Keep it going bud
  15. I think Bart had the right idea, drop it and throw a hemi in there. This bus that Rich posted is one of my favorites. Here's some other favorites of mine I think would be a really cool idea for a build. I know these are yellow but you don't have to paint them the same way. This is the one Foose Overhauled for John Force

This thing is so cool, real unique. Not to mention its hammered to the ground. Everything just flows very nicely like its supposed to be that way. You have one hell of an imagination, nice build.
  17. Real nice tribute build Bryan. A lot of cool details not to mention that killer skull you added. Man I love them skulls, especially this one with the wings. Can't wait to see what you have in store for the next build.
  18. Welcome to the site josh. A lot of great people and some really cool builds here. I'm lovin the Belair and Camaro. Not a fan of the stripes but they turned out nice on top of that gloss black, looks mean. Keep em' coming.
  19. Man I wish I could build something that quick and make it look that good. This is beautiful, love the color combo, stance, and again with those great looking photos, just the overall package. Nice build
  20. Smokey and the Bandit was a great movie and I love what YearOne did with it. Im also a big fan of the 69 camaro they redesigned with Foose. Personally, I like their version of Bandit more then the original car so I'm looking forward to seeing how this build comes together. So far everything looks good, keep it going.
  21. Wow! Now that's some eye candy, some really nice builds you have going on there.
  22. Love that color combo and the interior panels look great. Nice lookin build
  23. I too must of missed the build/under glass post of ol smoothie but I'm sure glad you posted a photo of it. That thing is so freakin cool, I almost like it more then one of your other builds (forget what it is) thats yellow with the skull on the hood. I really like how you have this one sitting, tuckin a lot of white wall. Your builds are always a lot of fun to watch. I'll be sitting back watching and waiting on this one.
  24. Alright, I guess that's a good enough reason, I'll let it slide. Owning a bakery must be amazing, all that good food. I'd be so over weight if I owned/worked in one. Next time I'm in a bookstore, which isn't to often, I'll have to remember to check that book out. I've been growin my beard for about 7 months now, little does my wife know but the goal is to get it as long as zz tops...lol. She'll probably end up cutting that sh*t off one night. Ahhh the Merc. Well it's going, slowly but surely. I have yet to finish a model since I started building again (last time I finished one I was a kid) so I'm having a little trouble figuring out the correct steps to everything. I'm a little bit of a perfectionist so I'm just taking my time. I have to post some updates, keep an eye out. Thanks for askin
  25. Wow albie, beautiful colors. What a nice combo. Looks great laid out on them rims, can't wait to see it all together. Don't let it sit any longer on that bench, keep it going. Btw, that looks like a really cool book you have it sitting on.
