  1. Yes. 1/25th scale. They are available in most scales including 1/24th as well.
  2. Yeah Tyrone, I was talking to Daryl the other night about the chassis and even though I know that I can create this same look from scratch I had to see just how good these were. It's insane that they can get something this nice from a 3D printer and it's one piece. It will make the cleanup more of a challenge as one piece but it's still worth playing with. Thanks Scott. I do know where to get your great parts from. I have a bunch and one day I just might get to use some of them.
  3. With my current job over the past 1 1/2 years driving a truck OTR it's been very difficult to get any bench time but the job hasn't stopped me from acquiring new items for future projects. I just received the TDR Shapeways 69 Camaro body and chassis. This stuff is awesome as far as detail and proportion goes. Nothing can compare. The texture is definitely a bit of a challenge but is worth the price of what you get. And the one piece chassis is almost unexplainable regarding it's level of detail. I will be working on this one as much as my homtime allows but it will be a slow process. It will feature a blower motor and a graphic paint job. Please excuse the cloudy pics. as a I took them rather fast with my phone.
  4. Very nice Tyrone. I wish I knew what time at the bench was anymore. Keep it up.
  5. Incredible work, as always Clay.
  6. I have to agree Chris. That tin work is a model all in itself. Keep up the great work. I can only imagine what the size of the build album is going to look like when this project is complete.
  7. Leave it as it is. They don't make them like they used to. This looks great, especially for 50 years old.
  8. Excellent progress Tyrone. Maybe one day I can come up with a new job that will allow me time back at the workbench. You look like your having way too much fun.
  9. Not the easiest kit to build. Yours looks extremely sharp.
  10. Awesome work Tyrone. Each new build just keeps getting better and better than the last.
  11. Very clean build with a fantastic finish.
  12. Very nicely done, Curt.
  13. Superb work Aaron.
  14. Very nice. I've seen numerous attempts done of this subject over the years and yours is by far the best rendition. I have had this project in the planning stages for many years but never have been able to make much progress.
  15. For those of you that are apparently confused this kit is basically the same kit as the Carl Casper Young American kit.
  16. Progress is looking good Ron. George, if you send me a PM with your email address I can send you the PDF. The pictures in my album show you what to do but the PDF explains it as well.
  17. Tyrone, the setup on the top picture is just too small for this build. However, IMO, the bottom setup looks to be too big. You need to find some middle ground. I have always thought the styling of that Flashpoint blower hat was nice but a bit out of scale. That's just me though. By the way, the build is coming along nicely, as usual.
  18. Very nice Daryl. Excellent finish.
  19. Curbside means no engine detail. Awesome job Daryl.
  20. Nice update Dave. It's good to see you back on this one. Looks to me like there will be plenty of really detailed pro mod builds at this years Atlanta show.
  21. Wing change looks good. Tyrone send me a pm about the body if you want. I can make as many as you like. Can't wait to see more Dirk.
  22. Outstanding work, as usual. I especially love how your carbon fiber work always seems to come out looking flawless.
  23. Dirk, you can do whatever it takes to get you a useable image. I can tell you that these vinyl graphics that I had made are very thin and very easy to use.
  24. I know you were looking at ideas for a paint scheme for the Vette and I have an idea for you if you are interested. You could try the the Tommy Gray Undertaker car pictured below. You would have to do the paint scheme, which should be no problem for you, but to help it along I had a couple sets of the side graphics created in vinyl a few years back and if you want I can spare a set for you. You would also need a set of Slixx decals that provide barb wire graphics as well. Here is what a sample of the side graphics look like. With my job out on the road there's no telling how long it might be before I ever get around to doing my own so it would be cool to see someone benefit from what I had done.
  25. Changes look good Dirk. Remember something will only look dated if you are trying to use an older styling job to represent something from a more modern era. The body you started with was actually created back in 2004 or 2005 and a lot of changes have taken place in the Pro Mod styling cues since that time. A lot of the big wings have since been replaced with almost stock appearing decklids and Pro Stock styled wings attached to that. The new rear end treatment looks superb. Those wheels are most excellent as well. Look forward to seeing where you go with this.
