  1. go with light coats first and build up the clear. if you go with too heavy a coat it will eat the decals.

  7. hey guys, I'm waiting intently for these two kits to come out. I can hardly wait. Now what Ive read that the Hawaiian and the chi town cars will share the same chassis the difference will be that the chi town car will have the offset drivers compartment and the offset engine.. Also the hood will have an insert to accommodate the offset Chi Town and the standard Hawaiian car I would like to believe that with all the research put into these two kits that revell would throw it all away on an incorrect chassis. By looking at this pic you can see how easily that can be accomplished

  10. Ive posted this one elsewhere We've owned this car since 1968 and I am now the "official" 3rd owner. it has a 327 that came out of one of my dads old stock cars. it needs a lot of work to get it back on the road but it will be fun to work on it with my son..
  11. I never thought of using Dykem, I use it in the shop all the time. Im going to have to try it sometime.. currently I use Tamiya clear red and clear blue. Personally I think it works...

  16. I know exactly how you feel about the lack of comments. My builds get few comments at best. Im just a hack though and my subjects arent the most popular.. but this is turning out to be a really neat build. I love it. Where did you get the little lexan blocks. Those are really trick....
