  3. If you feel better turning this around on me than dealing with the problem I brought up This is a dead issue to me. Im through with it...
  4. I do believe in some anonymity on the net ( merely for identity theft issues Which I have had happen to me).so if I'm guilty of breaking the rules then and will continue to break that one. George, I'm talking about creating and using multiple accounts. I believe what you did isn't an issue if you cant access the original one... Harrypri: if theres no specific rule then thats it. just wanted to bring it up.
  5. yep Mods, I bet if you dug a bit you'll find some multiple accounts for one user...
  6. I don't see anything on it but what about users having multiple accounts. always seems shady to me...
  7. The boots are from RB Motion and the body of the mag is just various sizes of aluminum tubing that I spun in my dremel and polished. not too tough to do.... oh and the cap is from the Polar lights kit I started with...

  13. Thanks alot everyone. the blower is painted with alclad magnesium good eye my friend. here is a small update on the tin work. it is roughed in and will need a bit of tweaking, sanding and polishing to get it right.. I still need to form the shroud for the blower hat as well
  14. Its a bit of a treat for us to have snow. we get it about once every ten years and NEVER before Christmas. But here is is last week 4 inches and it stuck.. Had a snowball fight with my son and some of the neighborhood rufians..
  15. That Hornet is AWESOME.. Heres My haul this week worked a deal with Charlie over a Pro-Tech and will NEVER need Braided line again (maybe). Also Davezinn and I have become fast friends and when I sent him the sox car after the childish fiasco over at the quartermilers site I got a very nice pile of goodies from him that will be divided between myself and other partner in crime MATT LeBlanc he sent a set of shocks , perry resins gasser wheels, SOHC motor some really BAD ASS flip top gas caps that will set nicely on the saddleback car and some shorty velocity stacks, not pictured is a Mustang I was needing for a future build, a MK Henry J. as well as really nice Satellite funny car body(For Matt). Dave is a great guy and went well above .Great week!!!
  16. Thats what its all about Dave. People lose sight of what this hobby is all about FRIENDSHIP. These models don't mean a thing to me. Ive made a new friend and fellow Outlaw. Some Drag race forum administrators take this stuff way too serious.... YOU ARE VERY WELCOME DAVE!!!!!!
  17. I feel it is a good choice for them to go to PayPal only. I have had so many nonpayers that would "claim" to tell me that the money order was in the mail and it never showed, it was ridiculous. Never had a problem with buyers that used paypal. Its weeded out the DEADBEATS for me...
  18. If you're looking for a vintage drag racing model site without all the garbage and bullying then come see us at vintage drag models inc. . This is a small but great bunch of guys that believe in building models and not walls. Go check them out... 1980 and earlier drag stuff.
  19. Brian, I dont fully agree with this statement. I have entered contests that had a "pro Class" and several cans of worms get opened with these. one is the question comes up "who gets put in what class" due to the "how much is enough" my meaning is how much photoetch or billet does it take to be considered a pro. In my book anyone can buy photoetch and hang it on a car or billet for that matter. I call that check book building (and Im VERY guilty of it) and there is always someone who wants to cry because someone has too much "stuff" on their model. all the while here comes another builder who sctrach builds everything on his model but because it doesnt look like "jewerly" he gets to compete in the regular class. I always get the feeling when "pro classes" are introduced its a way to push some models out of a class into their own so everyone gets a chance. Well its been said here before that were grown and not everyone is going to win. I scratch and checkbook my models and guess what I don't always win. Matt LeBlanc REFUSES to build anything for contests other than box stock and he cleans house everytime. Wins way more than I do(hes even beat out a few checkbook models too. What Im saying is these are contests and everyone should come away with something more than a trophy. Gain a new skill technique or whatever. Give the judges what they want...
  20. No problem if you want one I can probably grab another one when we go back after the first of the year..
