That looks WAY better than I would expect for that attachment method! Cool stuff, but in your pics, at least on my screen it looks a bit bluer than I'd prefer. Is it perhaps more green and less saturated in person? Very curious to try this! Thanks for posting.

Get some dirt on that body! Primer grabs dust like nothing else, so it's nearly impossible to keep this clean! Very cool build.

That brings back so many memories; that one was my introduction to Dave Deal's models at about age 10, and I was blown away by the very idea of a 3D caricature! I loved the humor in the instructions, I loved Dave's drawing style, I loved how well the models translated his look, and I built every one I could find back then. Thanks for sharing this one! That's about as good as an IMC kit can look, IMHO! The IMC tools ended up in the possession of Lindberg, who would occasionally pop them out, though I don't recall them releasing this particular kit. They are, however, responsible for my most-hated and reviled plastic disaster: the '48 Lincoln. Open the box, and you hear the sounds of orphans crying. ( and me, too) Beautiful picture of of a REAL Lincoln on the box, plastic inside would build just as accurate a model of the USS Enterprise as it would a Lincoln of any year...
