  1. Always wanted to see one of these plumbed up properly. It's voodoo to me.
  2. Fantastic build; that cockpit is really the bee's knees. Keep up the good work! It's worth the wait.
  3. A very cool ride! Where did you find that resin kit?
  4. Cool car; have a related 69 project underway myself. Love that blue!
  5. Ditto!
  6. I loved it when Jethro tried to modify it into a "double-nought spy car" ala James Bond. I think he used a galvanized wash tub turned upside down for a bullet-proof cockpit cover, with a peep hole cut for forward visibility. Beautiful.
  7. Darren Stevens drove a convertible, I think it was a Camaro, but do I recall an Impala from earlier seasons? (Bewitched) Another fun one; Greg Brady bought a piece of junk '55 Chevy convertible, but felt too guilty to pass it on to another sucker. (Brady Bunch)

    Oh yeaeeeaaahhhhh!
  10. I had no idea what a Gama Goat was, but am so glad I clicked to find out! Very nice build, and exemplary paint work. I agree with others that say this needs a simple diorama to display in. Fun stuff!
  11. Wonderful progress; you are working a plan, and it shows.
  12. Good work so far! If I may offer a suggestion, ( I have one of these started (stalled?) and have been mulling over the top issue myself) these kits have a top that is not only too flat, but too tall as well, and you can kill two birds with one stone by filing off the rain gutters and gluing a filler strip in all the openings at the tops of the side windows. I think I used something around 1/8-inch, or 3mm. It has an immediate effect on the proportions of the side glasses which are too tall, and it gives you some "meat" to file on to get a nice radius to the top, and adds visual thickness that is missing. The plastic you've added on the top will allow you to file in a nice crown and get rid of the pancake look. If I can dig up my stalled body, I'll post a small pic to let you see the difference. Great job so far, and this is all we have really for a decent 57 Nomad! We need a modern tool...GREAT MOEBIUS HEAR OUR PLEAS!!!!
  13. I love old-style, outrageous customs! Keep on it and keep us updated!
  14. Very attractive build; color is NICE!
  15. Very neat build!
  16. Like others, I'm really curious WHERE you found that kit?!
  17. Did you intend to flock your vinyl floor mats?
  18. That's it! I have a couple or three in the stash. She fits the Lightning like a charm! (Better than Snuffy Smith!)
  19. Oh yep, definitely a clean build, just had to poke a little fun!! Where did you get the nose-art cutie? It looks familiar...
  20. Always a fun read from you!
  21. So nice. Any plans for an interior?
  22. What a cool kit! Nice job; it is really a nice display piece.
