  1. Cool! I like a good custom, and you seem to have a definite plan to where this is headed.
  2. Fun kit! Or is that Funk it!
  3. The lines on the deck lid inset look a bit vague/indistinct, but this is really shaping up NICELY! Great work.
  4. Ditto; thanks for the update! I know how you feel, stupid life interfering with model building...
  5. Try this: https://www.shapeways.com/shops/ra-sti-acute-s-scale-accessories?li=pb The 'cuda parts aren't there, though. What up?
  6. Very nice looking wheels! Good choice.
  7. Kinda diggin' how it's looking with just the two colors; red and silver play well together!
  8. Cool idea here. More please!
  9. Nice dash detailing! Keep it coming...
  10. That color looks really good on that body style!
  11. Glad to see this is still in progress; great work so far!
  12. If that's the only one left, at least we got a nice one. What a handsome automobile! Nice model of this beauty. I kinda want to see that roof on a 63 Impala...To the photo-shop...
  13. Anyone know if the 68 mold still exists? Would like to find at least a glue-bomb to do up. Love the 60s Impalas, Biscaynes, Bel Airs, and Caprices!
  14. Yeah, the topic of that body has been discussed in several threads here on the forum, but you can work it into shape! The plastic is fairly thick, and you can fix a lot just with judicious filing. I've got one underway, and a wide flat file has been my good friend. A round one helps with the body coves. The area around the back glass needs attention, especially at the top of the C-pillar. The radius of the back window corners is off; I think I had to add plastic in there and file to correct. Having a real body for reference will help you more than you can imagine!
  15. That SMH hood looks NICE! Thanks for posting that.
  16. Very clean build. Is this 1/48 scale?
  17. Being Rommel's Rod, 2 or 3 Gerry cans strapped together might make an appropriate fuel tank!
  18. Very neat work so far.
  19. What did you use to make the fade-away fender panels ? Is that cut from another kit?
  20. Very cool shade of green, really understated for a muscle car. Quite attractive!
  21. Oh yes! That front looks way better. This is one of Watson's better concepts IMHO, and your 3D realization of it shows the validity of the concept. More!!
  22. Nice job! I really like the restraint you show in your chassis over-spray; too often this is WAY overdone and unrealistic. If you've ever painted a real car, you have a better idea of just how much actually lands there, of course depending too on the kind of paint sprayed, the painter's technique, air pressure/fluid adjustment of the gun, etc. I think you captured a realistic "middle ground"!
  23. Beautiful cars, but the lines of the green car, as well as the color, just put it on top for me!
