I was really digging the Caddy front end before streamlining. Now I'm a little sad...
-
Really beautiful car and model!
-
Now that's OLD school! Will be an interesting build, for sure; should be plenty of opportunities for super-detailing at that scale!
-
My only quibble so far is there seems to be a bit of arch in the C-pillars as seen in side view, where the 'bird's were pretty straight, I think. It could just be photo distortion, too.

Well executed!

That red is perfect!

Very cool build!

Good work! Looks well used, and I really like the detailing on the R2 unit. I can't understand why model companies are so slack in their standards for figures. (Tamiya and DML military excused) Otherwise exactly detailed kits are dragged down by bad-toylike, substandard figures! Most all the major kit makers were/are guilty of it. ( Revell 58 T-bird w. "Elvira", AMT Tie Fighter w. ""melting-Vader-on-the-toilet", the list goes on...

That's really getting the look! Take your time, get it right, and you won't be able to cast them fast enough! Good work.

Cannot wait to see that color on the car!
-
One of the most realistic finishes I've seen in awhile; absolutely love that side view!. Trunk lines bother me, the real ones never fit that perfectly!

Agree that many try to make "Faux Caminos", but few do it well. This is as nice as as they come; very believable and rather handsome! I would love to have seen a black interior and black vinyl on this! Do another one!

41 BEER Wagon?

Looks great overall! One small nit to pick; if you could cut a couple of thin slices from plastic rod or sprue, make 2 little discs (painted black) to serve as "snubbers" for the rear of the hood to space it up and into alignment. It stands out to me, the way the hood sags at the rear and throws the side trim out of line. -
Agree with the decision on the copper. Why not tint the rear insert purple, so as not to fight the flames for attention? Either way, neat looking rod!

Unbelievably detailed; just beautiful representations, and at dang good prices; thanks for the link! Also, loving the GTO, waiting for color!

Really progressing nicely. Will the interior be as outrageous?! -
Cattyllac! Too wild; fun build.
-
Really like WRC cars, and this one is very nicely done. Maybe TOO clean!
-
Quick photo tip: if you really don't NEED color in a detail shot, convert the image to gray-scale ( black and white), it really decreases the file size, and is often just as good at getting your point across.

Just FYI, these are the versions I'm familiar with, all virtually identical in the box, and the boxes are crammed so full of parts, they are hard to replace after unpacking! The only exception is the newer Heavy Chevy box, which is larger and does contain those newer, tampo-printed tires. PM me if you need some stock parts for another build. -

Wow, that is really interesting. I own multiples of this kit, in 3 or 4 different boxings, and they pretty much all have the same options. The one I DON'T own is the low-rider boxing you have. That must be THE most specific packaging of all; I would love to see the sprues from that kit.
