  1. Amazing job on that roadster, Eric, I had no idea that many kits/parts went into it. Very nice.
  2. More as it comes in.
  3. Super nice build. The only thing missing is detailing the front parking lights at the leading edge of the front fenders. Fortunately, an easy adjustment on a built kit.
  4. Stunner! All business, plain and clean - just how I like them. A friend built a '77 1:1 in a similar way, one of my favorite friend cars of all time. I have pics somewhere...
  5. Outstanding! If I had an extra 40 million lying around, I'd buy a real one next week.
  6. Boston, 1971 - my Father's first antique car, a '27.
  7. At the Sign of the Cat - Rowwwwrrr.
  8. Love the Gene Winfield style fade, the car looks great from every angle.
  9. That'll be a really nice build.
  10. Really neat, that body was easily Palmer's best attempt at anything. It wasn't a bad effort.
  11. Sure thing. Be sure to show us your work, can never get too many '73-'79s here.
  12. That was probably me.
  13. Super nice build, my avatar is my 1:1 '60 wagon. You don't often see these built to this level.
  14. Same Same Same, masterful weathering, nothing overdone, looks absolutely real.
  15. Stock A roadsters are the coolest! You seldom see that kit stock, but it looks so nice.
  16. Mint! Fantastic job all around.
  17. Be sure to check out their latest flyer. https://imgur.com/gallery/JcG3B
  18. Great kustom, I like the relocated taillights in the rear panel; I always thought the stock '62 Merc taillights looked weird.
  19. I love Sun Valleys and regular '54 Monterey hardtops as well. I hope to own one someday.
  20. Good. More gas for my 64 cylinder American war fleet.
  21. Beautiful work on the short bed conversion and the trim, a major improvement for certain.
  22. When a group of friends visited Tokyo around 1991, it was all the rage for the local teenagers to wear T shirts with English writing on them, and they didn't seem too concerned with what those words meant. One young guy had one on that said "cassette tape" across his chest.
  23. Amazing build, one of the nicest vintage NASCARs I've ever seen, spot-on stance and detailing, and an absolutely exhaustive conversion from a '64 to a '63. My head is still spinning. To the left, that is.
  24. Great project, nothing beats the original AMT body for correctness (and rarity) and the combination of that and the better chassis and drivetrain really comes together well.
  25. Very nice job, you got the look just right. A friend told me that his parents were shopping for a new car in 1963 or 1964 to replace their '53 Ford sedan. His father insisted on looking at the Checker Marathon as he didn't like any of the "new" cars because they were too low, and he couldn't wear his hat, and a man wears a hat! So they went to a, or possibly the only Chicago Checker dealer (a very lonely man) and test drove the car. He liked it a lot, and asked his wife what she thought. She said, "If you buy this car, you will need to buy a second car for me because I refuse to ride in it." They got a Mercury Commuter wagon instead.
