  1. Pretty fine job for your first time. I like it.
  2. Awesome!!! Novas are one of my alltime favorite cars. No matter what condition they are in they have a total tough guy attitude about them.
  3. Wow!, A real head turner...nice stuff.
  4. That pool table sure has some nice legs.
  5. Thanks guys. I did have a good time building it. Even though its a relatively simple build its my favorite one on the shelf. I look at it sometimes and think, "man I can only imagine how nasty some thing like this would be on the street". Its the original grill Wheaton. I just gave it a light wash, added solid black paint in select spots then gave it a light spray with a plastic prep which dulls and crackles the chrome.
  6. Theres something about 60`s heavy iron on steelies that just looks soo bad. Nice work
  7. I havent posted many pics of my finished rides since I`ve joined here and figured its about time I did. I`ll start with the one I call Dirty Vicky. Its an AMT 32 Vicky I built a few years ago with a few mods. A sectioned body with a chopped top. I didnt want to Z the frame so I reworked it in the front to give it a little more swoop. The motor is out of the AMT 53 Ford flipnose p/u with carb and velocity from the bottom of a parts box. Tires and wheels front and rear are from the 56 Ford Victoria 3n1. As a lot of you, I build all my models as how I would build them if it was a real ride but of all the builds I`ve done, this is the one I would bring to life if I could. Enjoy
  8. Its defiitely not my computer or Photobucket. I tried my pc at work and have the same problem. Its an issue with the image link icon on here. No big deal, I posted pics the way Casey suggested, it works fine that way and I actually find it a nicer way to post pics.
  9. I had a sinister grin the entire time I was building it . Thanks for the nice comments everyone. It was a fun build. I was under a big time crunch but it was still fun.
  10. Wow!! In the right setting you could fool a lot of people into thinking thats a real Z. Beautiful finish!
  11. I actually dont care for the Judge. Its my least favorite muscle car out there but you got this one looking really nice. I can honestly say its the first Judge I`ve ever liked. I like it a lot. Good work.
  12. Do you deliver? I`d like to placer an order Killer build Zen. I like it a lot!
  13. Weird. I havent posted a lot of pics to this site, mostly in the past couple weeks. I`ve been using the image link with no problems. I just copy on the direct link box at PB and insert it using the image icon, but tonight it just wouldn`t work for me (still doesnt) as soon as I click on the icon my screen hazes over and nothing responds until I refresh. The copy and paste method worked great. Cool Fairlane! Yours?
  14. Thanks Henry. Mean was my goal. I got the rims from Model Express. They have them on sale right now. .98 cents for 4 of them.
  15. Cool car! Looks like your off to a good start. Welcome.
  16. Finished this the other day for the Cannonball CBP. Its an AMT 3N1 57 Fairlane that I found in a discount store still sealed for $10. I went for a stripped down,no frills, lived a rough life, bad as you wanna be street racer look from that era. Removed the body trim, drilled trim mount holes then filled them in with intentionally bad body work. Scratch built a few pieces....really big gas tank, rollbar, seat mount, hood scoop, exhaust, supercharger plumbing and air intake, rad hose (because the only one it had was on the intstruction sheet) added a straight axle front and a few other things that I cant think of right now. Put a coat of semi gloss clear over hot rod grey primer and a flat black hood. Threw a few spares in the back and some borrowed license plates to help out with getting across the country and then hit the road in a race car thats got no problem fighting dirty.
  17. Thanks Casey. Didnt think to try the copy and paste method. That way seems to work fine but the Image link still doesnt work.
  18. Anyone else having problems posting pics? Everything was fine last night but this eve I cant post a pic. I was going to start a thread for my Cannonballer. I had everything written up and when I clicked on the image icon in the toolbar to link to Photobucket and the entire screen hazed over and froze. All I could do was refresh the screen and then I lost everything I typed. I`ve tried multiple times and always get the same result. My computer seems to be working fine. Just wondering if anyone else has had the same issue.
