  1. These are very nice saves!
  2. Nice Job!! Looks great!
  3. Got in a Corgi Aston Martin James Bond DB5 first version. Has the changing license plates, rubber tires, etc. Needs a little love, but it's in pretty decent shape. I had one when I was about 6 and lost it. 42 years later...
  4. Just got in a JoHan 1931 Cadillac Town Car. It's pretty complete and should be able to be rebuilt.
  5. Very nice!!
  6. Bench seats so I've got room for my buffalo butt without a center console and having actual interior room. I'd rather not have a center arm rest or center storage if it meant I had more "wiggle room"
  7. Very nice save!
  8. I second the alcohol. It works quickly.
  9. I always find my Dremel runs too fast (yeah I know I need a speed control). So I picked up a battery powered tool from a resin kit site for about $6. It comes with bits that just plug into the end of it and it spins slowly enough that it doesn't melt plastic. It's cheaply made, but I can afford to replace it when it breaks.
  10. This looks fantastic. I think these AZ1's are cute little cars.
  11. Got in a Monogram 1930 Model A kit. Mostly wanted the coupe body for a project, but it's pretty complete.
  12. Gorgeous!
  13. Working on an AMT 92 Dodge Viper. It's a nice kit. I built one way back when, but it's fun going back through it again.
  14. Looking at the pictures, it looks like some kind of a racing or show paintjob. I like it a lot! Good Score!!
  15. Rarest I've built so far have been the Revell Lancia Stratos and the "Dr. Krook's Medicine Show". I had to make up a few parts on the Medicine Show and crib a few from the Guber Wagen, but it came out really well. I've got a full detail Chrysler Turbine that I'll be building one of these days, along with a Jo-Han Superbird.
  16. The build is awesome! Your son should be proud. Glad I'm not the only one who remembers K&B. I bought a copy of the entire strip on disc, and also got a signed print. I still need to build Bernie's Van and Krass' coupe.
  17. Just got in a Revell 1968 Pontiac Firebird 400 Ram Air 2n1 from Ebay. Got it complete and unassembled for less than $20.
  18. Older than I want to be?
  19. Games Workshop/Citadel Miniatures' paints are really good quality and very opaque. Also an extremely WIDE selection of colors and effects.
  20. Definitely interested. Good work so far!
  21. Got a well-sorted, not glue bombed Jo-Han 1969 SC/Rambler. It's complete and needs a little love. I'm almost tempted to display it as is until I'm ready to rebuild it. It's even got the decals!
  22. Even a stripper car today has most features only luxury cars used to have. I own a 2009 Malibu LS, and it's a fleet model. No OnStar, 4-cylinder, cloth interior. But it has power windows/brakes/steering, AM/FM/CD stereo with an aux jack, AC, and the driver's seat even had power height adjust.
