    Got a Polar Lights 2006 Ford GT, an AMT 1957 Chevy Bel Air and a 1994 F150 SVT Lightning, plus a Dremel 4.8v battery-powered motor tool. Awesome Christmas.

    Stupid question: Wouldn't the model companies save a lot of money if they only molded in white? I get why they mold some of them in color - either to drive a "limited run" or for snappers and so forth so kids will buy them. But overall wouldn't it be cheaper/easier for them if they didn't for the main kits?

    The set I got was from a shop that sold Warhammer and other gaming supplies. They were in a white package with red trim, the tube has a red stopper. They seem to be good quality, haven't broken one yet (fingers crossed). Can't say as much about my needle files. I've got several of those broken. I need to order a new set.

    The 3/4 view actually looked better to me. The pic of the new Chevy truck directly from the front makes it look like the nose is 2 miles tall. What are these designers thinking?

    Their lacquers really work well, I use them a lot. Most of the time I use Duplicolor paints.

    Think I'm gonna try to scratchbuild mine. There's some other correction on the rear end of this kit that needs fixing.

    I read that letter in SA. It seems kind of ridiculous to blame the people running the company for retiring. Sorry to see them leaving the business, I never had the chance to order anything from them.
