    I always found Miliput too crumbly and didn't adhere as well as I'd like. I had some Citadel "Green Stuff", and while it adheres well and isn't crumbly, it's too gummy when it's cured. I've been mixing the two (making it a 4-part putty) and it's perfect.

    I brush on thinned Elmer's glue. Sometimes I'll hit it with an overcoat to make sure it stays in place.

    Went to IPMS Blizzcon and picked up a couple. Got a Revellogram Aerovette and a Tamiya Jaguar MkII. Both less than $20 each.

    I usually use them for touch-up on chrome that has been damaged and it comes out awesome. Definitely let it dry for at least a few days before handling. I've played with it a little on trim and it came out well, but I'd just as soon use foil for that.
